Went here for a friends last minute lil bd bash back in November. Weather was perfect so we took advantage and sat outside. In total we were about a group of 10 and yet did not have to be placed on a waiting list for seating. We had already eaten dinner so I ordered something small. I had the tomato basil pizza, sauce on pizza had a sweet taste to it, basil tasted fresh, and pizza was of perfect size. The drinks where good and of reasonable price. The staff was friendly even the manager came out to our table to check up on things, and when he found out it was my friends bd he gave us each one shot on the house. Good place to go in groups and to people watch, enjoy.

A nice addition to the South Miami mix… kind of gives it that SoBe/Brickell without the traffic feel. Food is decent(a little pricy) but props to them for being open later than any other restaurant in the area. Sunday evenings they have a jazz band that plays on the terrace and it sure is relaxing. Saturday nights you will likely find a big crowd and LOUD music… just like the other Segafredo locations. All in all a nice spot particularly if you are hungry at 1am and not in the mood for the«Golden Arches».

I want to like this place. I really do! I have come here many times. The staff is always nice: pleasant and helpful. They are very, very accommodating. With that said, I feel like service is very slow. It takes a long time to get service and I have never seen it busy. I cannot decide if it is expensive or not either. I don’t take coffee out often. I am used to standing at a bar, ordering and drinking it. The whole full service coffee idea I suppose is not my style I think a little faster service would really do this place well.

My recommendation is to try the place on the left to right If you want cheaper drinks go to Sunset Tavern. If you want good food go to Whisk. If you want to listen to a live band go to Bougainvilleas. If you want a cool ambiance go to Town. All these places are in a close proximity of Segafredo. However, if you want insanely loud music, overpriced food and drinks, and mediocre service then you might find Segafredo’s your type of joint. It really is the ugly duckling of the Segafredo family and has nothing on the Brickell location.

I really reeaaalllly REALLY hated my visit to this place. To start off with, the music was outrageously loud. I couldn’t hear myself think, much less speak to the waiter or my dining companion without having to shout. Mind you, we were seated outside. I can only imagine how torturous it must have been to be sitting inside, next to the DJ where the decibel level was about 10 times that of the ‘great’ outdoors. The only decent part of this evening was the service, and I say decent not great. Really it was the hostess that was nice, our server kind of just flitted by, took our order and then showed up at the end to see if we wanted dessert. Considering that the Bruschetta was totally flavorless and our olives were rancid, there was no way in hell that was happening. Needless to say, I shall not be returning. In fact, I plan on walking on the other side of the street next time I am near this place so I don’t have to bare the barrage of loud crappy music they play incessantly.

My friend and I decided to have lunch al-fresco and what better place than the Segafredo terrace in South Miami. I’m not going to lie, the menu is nothing out of this world, and I feel it’s a bit over-priced for what they serve, but what I’m giving it a good review for is the management and service. I ordered the soup and salad special and had the Gazpacho and the Stack salad(their version of the Caprese). My friend ordered the lunch special which consisted of Angel Hair pasta and Meatballs. When we got our dishes the meatballs were missing, so they took the plate back and took a while to return. I was disappointed when I looked at my soup; it looked more like salsa than gazpacho. I ate a bit of it and it was alright in taste, but still couldn’t get past the texture. The salad was pretty good. When the manager came to pick our plates and inquire what we though about the meal I was quick to express my disappointment and told him that being from Spain all that dish made me want to do is dip chips in it. At first he tried to argue that Gazpacho was originally from Italy and that that is the Italian version…(:rolls eyes: alright… whatever) Minutes later our server Joe shows up with a complimentary desert and tells us that the manager hopes the sweet will take away some of the bad taste from the meal. Nice touch there. Later on when we got our check, our server also presented us 2 free drink vouchers. So all and all it was a pleasant experience made better by good management.

I honestly thought this place sucked ! I went during a heat game for a quick dinner with my mom and sister because according to my mom the Segafredo in brickell is awesome, I hope its nothing like this one because this one was just awful. To start there’s really no hostess so we just sat ourselves. The place was pretty much empty yet the waiter took forever and day to get us anything we asked for. My mom and sister ordered a panini which was supposed to have all this stuff in it(roasted pepper, cheese, prosciutto etc etc.) well all it had was a tiny piece of prosciutto and salami.(Horrible Horrible) Me and my smallest sisters shared cheese raviolis, pretty hard to mess up because pasta and cheese is great but it was nothing special, it barely had sauce. I wouldn’t recommend it, and it would take a lot of convincing to get me to return.

We’ve only been to this Segafredo twice, and both visits have been positive. Our first time here was for a friends birthday party. We arrived around 11pm and were pleasantly surprised to hear the DJ spinning great tunes, the place was NOT crowded(although the crowds can sometimes get a little douchey — but its Miami. Its expected). Our waiter was incredibly friendly, and because we ordered so much to drink he even brought us a few shots on the house. We had a great time! Our second visit was earlier this week. After enjoying dinner elsewhere in South Miami we stopped into Segafredo for coffee and to watch the Heat game. First off, their Lattes are AWESOME! As a former Starbucks employee myself, I’m used to drinking shitty coffee on a daily basis. Having a Latte here at Segafredo was an awakening experience for me. It was foamy, it was creamy, it was delicious… and it was cheaper than Starbucks! I also enjoyed some gelato while we watched the game. For two Lattes and a gelato my wife and I paid $ 9. Thats what you pay for two small Lattes at Starbucks that taste about half as good. The place was practically empty, with very few patrons scattered about. Big screen TVs tuned into the Heat game we relaxed for a few hours and were never told to leave or harassed into ordering anything else other than our coffee and desert. Waiter was more than happy to let us enjoy the game! Manager came over a few times to make sure we were satisfied! The service here is truly great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is we have yet to really try the food here. We’ll definitely be having a meal here soon though, and when we do I’ll make sure to come back and revise my review. Now when I order coffee elsewhere it just doesn’t compare to Segafredo. Haha.

I had no idea that this Segafredo was different from the one in Lincoln road(so expect different menus), but the food was really good and it’s always nice to have the option to sit outside when the weather is nice. We were a group of loud and chatty ladies, and the service was really great! We had a very friendly waiter who kept our glasses full and even cracked a few jokes with out. I would definitively come back. PS: The tuna panini was delicious!

Relaxed and laid back, perfect place to go hang out and grab a bite and a beer. But wait, no, their beer selection SUCKS. They have like 4 beers and none which I care for. Boo. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and the vibe is nice. I loved their fried gnocchi, it was AMAZING. My girlfriends and I inhaled it like we were on Man vs. Food. Nothing like balls of white, starchy carbs breaded and deep fried accompanied by an array of pestos and sauces to dip in. We also ordered a chicken pizza, which was OK. I plan to go back for a panini or something, and definitely for some more gnocchi!

Looks like this Segafredo lost its mojo. It definitely is a great place to just get to know someone and have a couple of drinks. There was no crowd on a Wednesday night and I don’t remember hearing any music playing. So if you’re looking for a party or people watching… jump on I-95 and head to the Lincoln Road location. The service was friendly. It was a little chilly, so they moved a heat lamp to our table and we were able to sit outside. The seating is varied from outside to inside and standard chairs to plush velvet-like chairs. Here’s why they lost stars: the bar is limited. They didn’t have Malibu Rum and they couldn’t make a lychee martini. If you tout yourself as a neighborhood watering hole, make sure you’ve got the goods. I’m sure I’ll end up here again at some point, but I’m not running back to this SoMi spot.

I much like the Brickell location and was excited about getting this fine Italian coffee shop closer to home. I have been following the construction a bit and of course have been a number of times since its opening. I remain happy about having this pace here and with it another opportunity for outdoor sitting without having to pay for a full meal, unless so desired. The décor is typical for Sagafredo with velvet benches and reading chairs and some simple aluminum tables and chairs. The coffee is excellent as are most of the dishes I have tried. The biggest drawback lies in the actual location and orientation. Within the city of South Miami, this is a good spot right in the heart of the action with lots of parking. The challenge during these Miami winter moth is that you are sitting outside on the Northwest corner in a bit of a windy drag… so it becomes quite cool from the early afternoon on. This will probably turn into a benefit in summer, less the opportunity to get some sun. Overall I think it a wonderful addition to the City and can recommend it from simple coffee to drinks and dinner.

I met up with my friend for some drinks. When I went to the bar, the first thing I noticed is that Jessie Eisenberg dropped his acting career and is now working at this location as a bus boy, or waiter. I think it’s really cool that they were able to employ such a character. Besides that important detail, this place isn’t very special. It promotes that awkward ‘let’s just stand around and have drinks’ vibe. Varied age groups. Soccer moms with their kids sleeping on the dirty couches until they finish getting wasted and then put their kids in the car and drive home. Gotta love irresponsible parenting! I skipped out on the dining experience and only came for the intoxication experience, so I can’t rate their cuisine.

after a great elite event, my friend and I decided to head down to sunset place and thought.hey.let’s try the new segafredo. We sat outside, kinda bummed all the coaches were placed inside. but anyways. Our waiter was very nice and courteous, kept coming to check up on us. We decided to order some wine and appetizers, we had the fried calamari & zucchini and the bruschetta. My friend also tried a pizza with prosciutto. The pizza was huge for being a personal size, very easy for sharing. The dish I liked the most was the zucchini. The bruschetta… ehhh. not so much. A nice hangout spot, laid back atmosphere, good service and decent food.

The local chain Segafredo has made its way to South Miami. The westernmost outpost has a similar décor to the others. There is a lot of indoor seating perfect for days when it’s too hot outside. The entire vibe is relaxed and low-key, no pretension here. The server was young and eager to please. Which is always nice. We split a whole wheat pizza and although not amazing it was nice. For lunch they have an $ 8 which is soup or salad, half a panini and french fries. That lunch, plus its laid-back setting is perfect for the neighborhood.

I like the place. I know the area really well so when I was invited to check the place out with a big group meeting up there, I was somewhat confused because I couldn’t picture where it was. Simply put, it’s across the street from Cavas the by-the-glass-wine-bar on 73rd Street in South Miami. I believe that this used to be the old location for Rey’s Cleaners if memory serves me correctly. Anyway, once I got there I found the place easy to get to, as well as easy going and unpretentious. It meshes well with their general franchise vibe and I found the drinks to not be watered down and service to be quite prompt and cordial considering that the place was slam packed the night I was there. Would recommend as a great spot to begin your evening but I honestly can’t comment on their cuisine as I never did have a go at it.

I went for lunch here last weekend. They had a lunch special: half a sandwich with soup or salad for $ 8. Not bad at all! I had the special and ordered… I’m not great with names… the turkey sandwich with brie cheese and raspberries and the salad with buffalo cheese and tomatoes. It was very yummy! I was also surprised that it also came with fries… my weakness! It’s a nice spot to just hang with friends. I can see how it may get pretty packed at night since it’s not a large venue. I’d go again for a more relaxed outing.

I have been waiting to try this place and passing by with increasing curiousity until finally it opened! So having the perfect excuses to celebrate, a bunch of my friends and I went here. It seems so laid back with outdoor seating and is actually quite modern in décor. It’s mostly red, black, and red — and serves a little of everything: salad, bruschetta, antipasti, pizzas, coffee, martinis, beer, etc. The outdoor seating, while there is always heat and bugs in Miami, was actually nice with Xmas lights, trees, and couches lingering around. How could it go wrong? Well *big deep breath* the waitress was so extremely nice and friendly, a little too nice, and stopped to chat with us a bunch. She recommended and took the liberty of ordering for us a round of Sex and the City martinis. I wasn’t sure I was ready for a $ 12 martini but I said«what the hell!» Well after being unable to decide over what food to order, everything is so very pricey here and nothing caught my appeal on the menu, I decided to skip food. Well after the bill arrives for just 3 martinis and 4 beers — it was a whopping $ 80! I am kind of very thankful I didn’t order food, my budget can’t handle that and very disappointed in the steep bankrobbing prices. No thanks! Nothing on the menu blew me away, even the martini. I’ll go get drinks at happy hour somewhere else next time. However, because of the occassion and my friend moving out of the country, it was definitely worth our time… but not next time, not for a casual meal or regular evening. I’d rather go anywhere else. Pros: ambiance and surroundings Cons: prices and menu was«meh! I’ve experienced better.»
