Dear Peace Love World,
I will admit I love your stuff. I love the concept. The cotton you use is so very soft and inviting. The designs are trendy and whimsical. BUT… You are ridiculously overpriced. I fell in love with a shirt that said something to the effect of «Peace Love Eternal Life» and had this beautiful «Dia de los muertos» skull design on it. It was a regular ol’ t-​shirt. Nothing fancy. Just a print on the front… The f*&^$#@ shirt was almost $ 100. FOR A T-​SHIRT. WTF? Really? It’s not that I can’t afford it… It’s just I can’t justify spending $ 100 for a t-​shirt (exact price was $ 88). I would rather spend $ 100 on a nice blouse for work or going out… Not something that is inevitably going to turn into a PJ.
That being said, I do like to seize the opportunity to purchase items on sale, when I can justify buying pricey lounge-​wear. This past weekend all PJ related items were $ 20 flat price and there was an entire wall of the store that was 50% off. The sales reps are just ok — no over the top service, assistance or attention. Just a polite «hello and welcome»…
I am willing to pay full price for 1 thing… You recently had Miami Heat baby gear that I should have bought and didn’t. I am totally kicking myself in the ass now. Oh well, maybe next time. ;)
