I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I have been coming for the past ten years and i love everything about the place. I have tried many services including hair, nails, waxing, massage and all have been excellent. My mom, sister and I all get our hair colored and cut here and they treat us like family. I love that you could spend the entire day and be completely pampered, and you can even have a nice lunch with wine included(their café is excellent). I will keep coming back.

I have been going to Myra and company for more than 15 years. I get a variety of services done at the salon. I get hair color, cut and blow dry — the stylists are fantastic! Carmen, pila and cocoa to name a few. The nail techs are great! I get facials from time to time as well. The café has healthy and delicious food. This salon is like getting all of your grooming needs met while hanging out with friends in a warm and friendly environment. This salon also stays current on new techniques and trends for the season. Myra and Erica are a great team!

I wanted to do an ombré effect to my hair and went to Myra’s and it came out horrible! It was expensive and now I need to go somewhere else to get it fixed… I’ve cut my hair at Myra’s before and loved it but do NOT go there for color

I got my nails done by Stephanie and she’s the best. I followed her for the past 3 years. Even when she worked in west palm. Amazing clean work and does spectacular nail art.

This place always does my hair perfectly, and everyone is so friendly. I get my hair cut here once in awhile and am so particular but Cathy always does it perfectly. I also get it done for special events and it’s perfect. Everyone is very sweet and considerate. Definitely go here.

So, what do you do when a client come to your business and ask for the most expensive treatment for the hair and nails and then walk away with job done saying she is not going to pay because that is not want she was told, I wonder?

I started to go to Myra and Company in the 90’s because it was the only high-end salon that accommodated professional women by being open early and on Sundays. I have continued to go to MYCO because of their excellent service and warm and wonderful staff. What a great place to relax and stay beautiful!

Eyebrow tatoo called«Soft Touch» is amazing. Ask for Iris — she is detailed to perfection, and you are the lucky beneficiary! It doesn’t hurt — she takes pride in her work. No more makeup needed in am!!! Love my eyebrows now.

My daughter bought me a gift certificate, I had never been there. 3 months later I am still amazed. Excellent customer service, Leslie is excellent, I become so relaxed and forget everything that stresses me. Highly recommended. I thank my daughter for such a wonderful gift and a couple of hours twice a month of complete peace and relaxation. Vickie G

I had such a relaxing and pampering experience at Myra & Company, I’m definitely going back, even if I have to drive all the way from Hollywood and back. The staff was so friendly and professional. Really made you want to kick back and relax. Feel like having some crisp wine under those hot hair dryers? No problem. Myra’s café will gladly accommodate you. Erica welcomes you and bids you farewell with such a warm smile. Sonja did my highlights, and she was not only a sweetheart, but picked the perfect colors for me as well. Michelle washed my hair, and she was very friendly and helpful. I didn’t get my nails done, but that’s on the list for another time. If you’re in the South Miami area(or anywhere in Dade or Broward, really), stop in for a haircut or color if you have the time.

I had a wonderful experience at Myra & Company last week. The salon is immaculate and cozy. The staff was warm and amicable. The shellac service I received from Shawn was beyond compare. I will definitely be back to Myra’s for my next shellac service and I will(perhaps) try their spa services as well(in the future). I would highly recommend this salon.

When it’s time for a mani, pedi, facial and eyebrow wax, Myra’s is my first choice for a day spa. Myra’s uses excellent products, has a talented and consistent staff and runs a great little spa café with a light and refreshing menu. Check out their website — last I heard you can earn points toward purchases if you book appointments online.

OK since I got my first fabulous haircut and fell in love with Myra and Co. things have quickly gone down hill and now I will not be returning. Here is why: When I call to make an appointment they are always prompt about scheduling you, but then 95% of the time you have to wait when you get there for at least another 10 mins. OK that is fine. I don’t mind waiting as long as I get good service. Nobody ever asks me if I want anything to drink or if I need any help. I don’t know if it’s it because I am not one of those ritzy South Miami moms but I am still forking out the same money and deserve the same service. The last time I had to get my haircut from Pila. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes because of scheduling issues and so she couldn’t spend as much time on my hair as last time. Let me remind you I just get a simple trim(no coloring). So after going quickly through my hair and barely cutting it and not fully blow drying and styling it afterwards because I was running out of time since I had to wait 30 min., I was done. I go the the counter to pay. The lady says $ 115 or $ 109 can’t remember but nonetheless ridiculously expensive for the treatment I received and attitude I got from Pila who I learned has mood spells. So I was like whatever she did a good job the first time it’s OK, I paid the money and gave her a tip and left. You can read my previous reviews. I loved Pila, but this time she took half the time on my hair, barely did anything, had an attitude, and charged me ever more.. . BULL. Ok so may I add that I usually go to get my fringe(side swept bangs) trimmed from her every 2 weeks and EVERY time she charges me $ 12 to just get my bangs trimmed. Ok whatever I can even put up with that. The last time I went in I had it. First Pila’s attitude was just rude and pompous. I got my bangs cut while I was in another country and ended up getting straight across bangs and to replaces the ones swept to the side. So I was telling her how the lady did it, and she said in a smart ass tone, thank you, but I have been cutting bangs for 10 years I know what I am doing. Cuts my bangs in literally one snip and says I am done. She did not check to make sure if she had cut it properly because I guess she is so confident in her abilities. But his is the best part. I get to the counter and the lady says $ 15 and I was like excuse me? So I said usually I only pay $ 12 and now I am paying $ 15 for something she did not even take time on doing. And the girl apologetically says to me, sorry Pila tells us what to charge her customers based on the technique she uses for cutting, but usually we do not charge customers for their periodic bang trims. Pretty pissed off I paid the money and left. I got home and checked my bangs and of course they weren’t done properly and I had to go to somebody else to get them fixed. Obviously Pila is too confident in her abilities. So I can’t speak about the rest of the hairdressers at Myra and Co., but Pila is one of those hairdressers who schmooze you the first time and take their time so you will come back and starts treating you like crap and charging you more. This salon is guilty of trying to be good at too many things… hair, nails, massage, facials, work out facility? random and café on site to eat while you do all these things. Space is small. I’ve been going off and on for 3 yrs and none of it is that great but will do in a pinch. Hair… keep it simple and they can do an okay job, this is based on ‘master level’ stylist… just avg. Wouldn’t recommend for hair unless you are in dire need of bang trim or some kinda easy touch up. Nails… this is where they shine… Selva rocks… advised me to not cut my own toenails and she’s right… I screw them up! Pedi + Mani = $ 60 bucks and they last 4-ever! I’ve never had a mani last a full week! Massage — Okay but I prefer The Standard bec. I like ambiance and heated marble :) Facials haven’t gone there. In general not the best at coordinating multiple appts and a little to pricey for the level of skill and you have to wait. Owners are nice but I’m moving on to Bellezza down the street to see if I can get better.

Not a good experience. For this kind of money, I expected something really swanky, with a cushy couch, a robe, and a complimentary cappuccino. My mom and I went for a «spa day». We each had massages, which were fine,(but massages are always nice; I’ve never had a BAD massage). Mom really liked her facial, but we both disliked the manicures and pedicures. The armchairs are uncomfortable,(for this price, can’t they afford those massage pedicure chairs with the foot bath attachments?), and for the feet, they used METALBOWLS. No plug in massage tub, just metal mixing bowls filled with water. For a $ 40 pedicure! My advice: go South on US1 to any walk-in nail place, pay $ 20, sit in the comfy chair, and count all the money you saved. The manicure was worse. It’s 30 hours later, and all the polish peeled off already. My nails were oily from the paraffin, and the polish didn’t stick to them. I’ve had $ 8 manicures that lasted at least three days. This was a $ 30 manicure that cost about a buck an hour! $ 30 for 30 hours! Also, mom’s manicurist spoke NO English at all. I stopped by the front desk between treatments, and there was a cake dish of mini cupcakes. I asked if these were for the guests, and the cashier said yes. I ate one, and they added $ 2 to the bill! Then I asked for a Sprite Zero, and they added another buck. For this kind of money, throw in a cupcake and a soda, for the love of God. If you want a swanky spa day, go elsewhere. If you want a great mani/pedi, go elsewhere. If you want a great massage, keep looking. Stay away from Myra and Company unless you’re jonesing for a $ 2 mini cupcake and a manicure that lasts a day.

This is a great spa located near Sunset Place. Everytime I’m in need of a nice 80 min massage I head over to Myra’s and receice great service. The employees here at Myra’s are extremely nice to the clients, always willing to help and make you feel very relaxed(the reason you go to a spa). The mani and pedi’s are the best you can get in town in my opinion, a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Yes, the place is not the biggest place but it makes no difference because everything else here is simply divine! Head over to Myra’s and make your life a lil bit better. =)
