My friend and I went to Capretto Shoes today and we found that aside from the great collection of shoes and handbags that the staff made us feel so welcome and well attended to. I was hesitant based on a previous Unilocal review and I must say again that our experience was 7(SEVEN) stars ! Jason was very friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were in a friends Livingroom ! His staff made certain that the shoes we were trying on fit correctly for our individual feet. My friend has high arches and I have very narrow feet so it takes a professional to really know how to offer the right help ! I highly recommend going to Carpretto and ask for Jason !! Tell him the two Robbins recommended you ! You will really feel comfortable there! If you go during SALE they already place shoes out by size to be more accommodating when the store is crowded! Well thought out and most appreciated! Thank you Jason !

Wear your nicest shoes, grab your nicest handbag, and get your hair did before you step into this small shoe store because you will get judging looks the second you walk in. They have a smaller curated selection of high end shoes & handbags. The employees are usually busy chatting up their frequent customers to bother talking to people who are browsing.

While this store has a beautiful, curated collection of designer shoes and handbags they do not have the staff to match. I am a stickler for good customer service. I believe that if you choose to have a job in the cutover service industry, then by god at least fake it till’ you make it. I can say this because I know how it is, I have been there; I have put in my time and energy working in the customer service industry. So when I walked into Capretto to check out the 2 – 1 sale they had going on, I was surprised that I did not receive any type of «welcome» when there were 4 sales associates and 1 manager on the floor and only 2 customers in the store. Whatever, it wasn’t that big of a deal, I can get over that. What I can’t get over is that when you are hosting a sale, there are bound to be questions asked by customers. As the one gentleman sales associate was walking by me, I turned to ask if they had any other sizes in the back by any chance or if what they had was out. Simple, straightforward question, that I didn’t feel was dumb but a simple inquiry. Hey, you never know if you don’t ask. Did I mention that I asked in the nicest way? Well, he was quick to snap back without even looking me in the eye that, «We put the stickers on the bottom of the shoes for a reason», and walked away. Oh, I’m sorry, were my Chanel flats and Celine handbag not good enough for you? The worst part is, is that the store was dead and his manager was watching. Thanks but no thanks, I’ll take my business else ware. Shopping and fashion is supposed to be fun and the last thing I need is to deal with some twit head who he thinks he is too good or can not give me the time of day. The last time I checked, I was the one shopping on a Friday morning and he was the one working on a Friday morning. If he and the rest of the staff and manager can’t put a smile on and at least try to do their job properly, then I recommend to the owners that they hire a new staff that wants to be there. The store is too beautiful to have that kind of staff.

I love this store! I feel like I have died and gone to shoe heaven :) Yes, there’s Bloomies, NM and Saks, yet the selection at Capretto is awesome, I feel more relaxed shopping here than going to Saks and being pressured. i wish it was closer to my house, but all the more reason to drive for beautiful and one of a kind pair of shoes.
