very rude manager. understaffed. tried to resolve an issue with a NEW phone purchased there. They made it impossible to resolve within the 2 week warranty. Either a. no one available to help or b. I did not bring back proper packaging for return or c. verizon had to authorize(which they did) and they would still not return and replace. My verizon customer service rep told me on the phone that the manager at this store would not even work with him. I will never return here.

So many problems, so little time to explain them all… Last October, we went in to upgrade our phones and renew our contract. Every time we’ve been in, there are only two salespeople on the floor, which typically means a lengthy wait. This trip was no exception. We browsed a bit while waiting around 15 minutes. The salesman who helped us decide on our phones and accessories was very pleasant and helpful, and we actually enjoyed some fun conversation while shopping and setting up the new phones and contract. While checking out, we were informed by the salesman and store manager, Justin, that we qualified for a special promotion of a free tablet and free 1GB of data each month. Honestly, I wasn’t really interested, since I’m kind of an old person when it comes to technology. But hey, free is free, and how fun is that? So we took the tablet, excited about the additional free data, and off we went with our new toys! Until the bill came… Our data plan had been increased for an additional $ 10/month, and I’d been charged $ 150 for the tablet on my credit card! It took three weeks of calls with Verizon, who worked with the store(note that it’s an authorized dealer — NOT Verizon) to try to get the problem corrected. And what was the crux of the problem??? Believe it or, it wasn’t that they’d overcharged or failed to give me the additional free data… it was that they had given us a Verizon deal that had expired in MAYOF2014!!! In October! Verizon wasn’t even sure how they still had access to that, because customer service couldn’t even retroactively apply the deal for us! How disorganized is a store when they don’t know what current promotions are 6 months after they expire? It took a call to the Better Business Bureau for the charge to come off of my credit card, and we were told by Verizon that the store would be sending us a letter with instructions on how to return the tablet. At this time, we still have not received any letter, and the tablet is collecting dust on my desk. Until last week… when I received another $ 150 charge on my credit card for prematurely ending my contract! WTH??? We have called the store twice and left messages with the corporate office and have not even received the courtesy of a return call after we originally spoke with their customer service rep who could only parrot back the terms of our contract to us. So it’s another call to the BBB and my advice to everyone on Unilocal — before you buy ANYTHING from the Z Wireless store in S. Lebanon, call Verizon and verify that whatever you’re purchasing is actually a valid promotion. It’ll take additional time, but frankly, it’s well worth it when you figure I’ve spent at least 5 hours on the phone and have been incorrectly charged $ 300. Or maybe just try T-Mobile…

This place was AGONIZING. First, there are almost no people working here and it takes ages to be acknowledged and when you finally are the salespeople are terrible at their job. The salesman told us that a phone we were looking at was almost $ 100 more expensive than at the corporate store because«we have to make money too». I will keep my business at the corporate locations from now on.
