We had a large party for dinner in a private room. We were asked to put down a $ 25 deposit for the room. That’s reasonable. But after dining when asked for a return of the deposit they decided to keep the $ 25 as a «room charge». Service was poor as they didn’t refill waters and confused our orders. Might be ok for dining in small groups but was disappointing for our big once-​a-​year family holiday gathering.

We always enjoy visiting this restaurant. It’s got a huge italian menu and gelato. Beer and Wine plus espresso bar! Can’t wait to go back for the 100th time!

Not sure how to describe this particular experience… The boyfriend and I were visiting Tahoe & saw Unilocal had treated this place fairly well & we were in the mood for Italian anyways — well was this the wrong place to pick.
Instantly when we walked in, the vibe was weird, the décor is super funky and the booths are horribly small and dated.
I ordered the Cesar Salad & my guy got the Chicken Parmesan. I really should start asking for dressing on the side because my god this stuff was SOAKED in dressing. Almost $ 12 for the most mediocre cesar salad I have ever had. So not worth the money AT ALL. So disappointed. The chicken was pretty good & the portion was quite big.
Besides the overall atmosphere, my food & décor our service was actually quite great.
I would give the service 4 stars but everything else a steady 1 – 2 stars.

Really cute intimate environment. The food speaks for itself, it smells and looks as good as it tastes. The menu holds a wide variety of different Italian dishes (delicious appetizers, veggie and meat antipasti, pastas, entrees and desert). I definitely recommend the shrimp scampi appetizer, the sauce was so delicious we were dipping our breads into it. You cannot go wrong with any of their pastas, from creamy to buttered, it was all amazing! I actually thought the pricing was cheap for how good the food tasted. Definite recommend this restaurant if you are looking to have a nice intimate meal while in South Tahoe.
P. s. Check in on Unilocal and you’ll receive 2 glasses of wine as long as you order 2 entrées.

Our friends had their rehearsal dinner here. It’s a cute little restaurant with authentic Italian food. They even have a garden patio area that available for weddings. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The manager came by to see how our private party was doing.
The garlic bread was delicious. I always love having garlic bread at Italian restaurants because I can never make it the same at home. For my main entrée I chose the veal. I’d never had veal before so it was a new experience for me. The food was delicious. It made me feel like I was having dinner at an Italian family home.

Looking for Italian food in Tahoe?! Then this is the place to be. We came here for dinner on a Tuesday, and were seated immediately. Make sure to check-​in to get your two free glasses of wine. This option automatically boosts the restaurant ratings. The service was great and our food came out quickly. We ordered the Sliced Tri-​Tip with Garlic Mushroom which came with a Manhattan style Clam Chowder soup. Everything was delicious and I strongly recommend this option.
The environment is very nice and it is a great date place. They definitely load you up on the bread, butter, olive oil and vinegar, so make sure to pace yourself, but it can be difficult, since its really really good!
