My wife has been trying to get me to come here for weeks. She usually comes with her mom and always rave about the food. After trying them out she was indeed correct. Best wings in town by far. I love my wings. Pizza chips are delicious and beer seems to be fresh every time. Plus everything is very affordable and bountiful. Building is new and very clean inside. One of my go to spots from now on.

We tried Bob Dog for the first time and thought it was pretty good and would order from them again. We got a Lake Tahoe Supreme pizza, a pepperoni and spinach calzone and mozzarella sticks. There were just 4 of use so this was really too much food… so we had left overs for the next day!
The Good: We placed an order and went to pick it up and the food was hot! Husband said the calzone was excellent, maybe one of the best he has had. The Tahoe Supreme pizza was pretty tasty and plenty of toppings. We really liked their red sauce on both the pizza and calzone.
The Bad: The crust on the pizza was good but would have like it a little more cooked, was mushy or raw just not quite the way I like it. Other people really liked the mozzarella sticks… uhh. No thanks. They tasted and looked like they were frozen, the cheese wasn’t melty or gooey.

Stopped here to escape a traffic jam on 50… so glad we did! We got 2 ceasar salads and Dog Pound (all meat) pizza. Really big, delicious salads — great for the money! The pizza was incredible, too. Loved the crust, and the dripping stringy cheese when you dished it onto your plate. Service was a bit slow, but that was just because there was only one waitress for the whole place (she was really nice!). Not a bad place to drop in for some great grub!

This place is good! Ice cold beer on tap, pizza was delicious, and the crust was spectacular! We liked the local feel and the modern esthetic. Next time we’re in South Lake, we’ll be stopping by for sure

The absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. I live in Meyers and this is the only pizza place that will deliver to me. So each time I want delivery I think maybe MAYBE this once they will be able to handle an order. They are either busy or when you call your you on hold for over 10 mins. Either hire some more people. Maybe get another phone line or shut the place down. It’s absolutely ridiculous. When you talk to the lady on the phone she just sounds like she is so busy and doesn’t want you calling to give them any business. She has the worst attitude. You definitely need to fire this lady or train her on some customer service skills. It’s a shame cause the pizza is good.

Sorry to say that the food was very disappointing. We got delivery, so I can’t comment on the service, but we got two pizzas and mozzarella sticks. The ‘walk the dog’ pizza sounded great, but was not good. The spinach was whole and basically raw, the Alfredo sauce on the pizza was watery and bland, and it just didnt come together well. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh or house made. The pepperoni was even worse, it tasted like something you would get at a theme park or even a movie theater: processed and uninspired. Next time we will be trying a different place. It wasn’t horrible but it was certainly sub par.

So this was my first time there and it was pretty good, I got the pizzawich and mozzarella sticks, the mozzarella sticks were excellent and so was the pizzawich besides the fact that there was a really long hair inside when I got it home, that didn’t really go well with me.

Very nice pizza! we have ordered many times for take out and have been happy each time. they have only one size which is enough for 2 – 3 people. They can also make you half and half — great if your kids only eat cheese pizza. we love the crust. Price is awesome — $ 17 for a large pizza and the quality is way better than anything else in South Lake Tahoe and we have tried them all. Hope this place keeps up the good quality and fast service.

I don’t recommend coming here. I recommend going to BLUE DOG pizza. 3 times eating this pizza, every time is a disappointment. You can only order a large (weird.)
Just not quality pizza WAY overpriced for what it is. The quality is equivalent to Pizza Hut. Save your money and go there instead.

Delicious! My fiancé and I got mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, and two cheese calzones. The mozzarella sticks are amazingly good. My fiancé wish he had more wings. The calzones were huge for the price! We got two thinking we would be able to eat our own, but we should have just shared one. Really good. 100% satisfied

Unfortunately we have to deduct some stars. Today’s visit it was a total bust. I don’t know if they ran out of cheese or what, but the amount of cheese on our hair of the dog was almost nonexistent. Other ingredients were literally falling off the pie due to lack of cheese. Sadly we won’t be returning, it used to be our première pizza place at the lake…

Ok… So many trips to South Lake Tahoe, but this is our first stop at Bob Dog Pizza…
Such a great decision to stop in. The service was wonderful, super friendly, and pretty prompt considering it was busy.
The food… Great!
Mozzarella sticks were perfect… cooked just right tasted great not oily or hollowed out .
Chicken fingers were moist and HUGE. Crispy and delicious.
Pizza was BOMB! We got the Dog Pound and it was great… Meatballs on pizza. so good. Not too heavy on the sauce and the crust was so nice! Highly recommend this little gem along 50.

I’ve been here a few times now and really enjoy the spacious light atmosphere. But after spending time there it feels like a lack of caring about the business. How can Bob Dog Pizza be out of Bob Dog Brew again? How can you be out of your signature product? No Sierra Nevada either? Back up choice. I ordered the pizza anyway and it was tasty. I asked for some olive oil and the staff acted like they never heard of such a thing. When I got the olive oil the bottle was so grimey with stuck chunks of? Plus it was terrible, it didn’t taste like anything.
My other observation is, it’s happy hour time and starting to get cold out why not start their beautiful fire pit in the front for folks to enjoy? Plus it’s an excellent way to draw more people in to the business.

Omg. I’m pretty sure this was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. I got the BBQ chicken pizza with added jalepenos. The BEST BBQ pizza I have ever had. and it’s the only kind of pizza I order when I go out so I have had a lot of BBQ pizzas lol.
The crust is nice and thick and fluffy and delicious! Generous toppings. And the chicken was good, too… usually the chicken on pizzas taste really gross to me (I’m not a huge meat eater so I’m really picky)
Also got the Greek salad which was very good.
The only thing that was off was the service. if you would call it that. I don’t even think the man working there said two words to me and my bf. he seemed like he was the only one working there… he wasn’t rude but he just didn’t even speak lol oh well, didn’t bother me much.
Also, the place is super clean and is nice atmosphere, it had a little game room with a pool table which I thought was cool.
I’ll def be returning!

Pizza was delicious and unique. The ingredients were high quality and I loved the almost breadstick like crust. It was definitely tasty.
We also enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and the standard salad with Ranch. Their Ranch dressing was really good.
Overall, great experience!
