My amazing bridesmaid took me here part of my Bachelorette weekend. We started the service with some wine and a eucalyptus steam room which was absolutely amazing. After, we went into our massages. The lady I had (will find out her name and insert it later) was amazing. I like my massages rough, and she really knew how to get in there. I have a lot of back problems and I got up feeling great. Afterwards, we had a facial which was pretty good. I’m not too much of a fan of facials but the lady who did mine was very nice. My face has been very raw, puffy, and dry since then, but that’s the typical reaction I have to facials. Overall great service and amazing massages. I wish we had some place like this where I live so I could go once a month!

I came here for a prenatal massage and Jen was highly recommended. This was my first prenatal massage and it was the BEST! for once I was able to lay face down because they had an amazing belly bolster. Jen’s voice and touch was so relaxing. she checked in with me regarding the pressure and let me relax the whole time. she focused on my problem areas which was my sciatic at the time and even after the massage she gave me some pointers on how to stretch that muscle/​nerve out for at home relief. I can’t wait to go back to her even when I am no longer pregnant!

My wife and I had a couples massage here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was great, very friendly. And words can’t describe how awesome the massage therapist were; I had Jennifer and my wife had Shell. They were both professional, courteous, and very great at their work. We definitely recommend them.

First time coming here while vacationing in south Lake Tahoe.
The staff was very friendly and didn’t seem to rush anything. The price seemed fair. The lady who did me was very nice and told me if some points were too harsh to let her know. There were a few spots but I had tension there.
I’d come here again.

I was treated to a couples massage and a facial by my wonderful boyfriend. The ladies there are so friendly and pleasant. We felt so welcome and at ease. We got mimosas as we waited and some infused water as well. When it was time for our appt, we were taken to the eucalyptus steam room, and that was a nice treat. The steam wasn’t overpowering and it felt so nice and relaxing to sit there. After a few minutes of steam, we were ready for our massages. Boy was that nice. Unfortunately i can’t remember my lady’s name, but both were really good, and applied the perfect amount of pressure to both our stressed out shoulders, neck etc.
My facial was done by this amazing lady named Trish. Wow, it was not only a wonderful experience for my face, but also, a learning experience for me. I learned so much about my face, acne, what natural products i need to use. She was not trying to sell me anything, but helped me figure out what ingredients to look in my own research. That’s a good aesthetician let me tell you. Someone who will not pressure you to buy the products they use. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Trish was. I feel like i made a new friend! :-D
Go to BioSpirit if you are in SLT. This place rocks :-)

I just have to say my husband and I just had the most wonderful time a Bio Spirit. Coco and Shell were fantastic. We both said this was the best massage we have ever had. We will defiantly come back. Thank you for such great service

Had a massage and a facial with a friend, and the service was excellent!

Visited while on vacation and had a great experience. One of the more fair priced spas in town and so worth it for the value and experience that you get! My boyfriend and I received a couples massage and I got a facial. The massage therapist was very considerate of your preferences and it was a very relaxing experience. Sometimes they go too soft or hard even if you ask them to adjust, but these massage therapists took all the right cues. I just wish it lasted a little longer, like a full hour versus the 50 minutes. It was nice that there was a steam room provided to sit in before and in between treatments.
The staff was very warm and welcoming, the owner helped check us in and she was fabulous. Everyone made you feel very at ease and taken care of. Much better service and worth going to over a spa in one of the hotels and casinos. It’s worth the drive out to it if you’re staying at the strip– it’s only a few minutes away and you get so much more and a much better experience.
The only thing that made me slightly uncomfortable is when I got my facial it seemed like the aesthetician was trying to sell me a little too much on buying the products, which seemed a little overpriced. I did buy a face peel, but sort of regret it.

I felt so pampered and cared for — I wish I could do this every weekend! Midge was wonderful — I have been so hyper-​stressed with the new job — but everything from the steam room prep, to the cozy and wonderfully charming waiting area to the cheerful and courteous staff (thanks Tina, Teresa and Alison!) — they accommodated us just fine on really short notice. Highly recommend if you’re not into skiing but headed to Tahoe.

We went for the 80 minute couples massage today. The whole experience was superb. We found this place from Unilocal and our hotel also endorsed it. They asked us to come half hour early to register and used the steam room. I chose the deep tissue and my husband chose the relaxation massage. I would recommend this day spa if you’re looking for a better than hotel treatment. The nice part was that the facility was walking distance (.5 miles) from our hotel.

Had a wonderful day at bio spirit. Booked their longest package and I walked away feeling like a new person! Upon entering I was warmly greeted by Theresa, so I knew that I would be in good hands.
Got to start in their steam room and it was the perfect way to get my mind right and my body ready.
Coco did all my treatments and it was a pleasure to get to know her. My scrub and mask made my body the smoothest it’s ever been and her massage technique soothed all my aches and pains.
It was the perfect day and I am definitely coming back when I visit again.

Incredible experience! I booked various massages for myself and a couple friends and Biospirit was able to accommodate our needs perfectly. They responded to my phone message right away and I booked the appointments easily.
We got to experience the steam room for a few minutes before our massages and it felt great to relax in a warm sauna with the sharp clean smell of eucalyptus.
The massage was lovely, so relaxing and the therapist was responsive to my requests for lighter or firmer pressure on different areas. I would highly recommend this day spa and can’t wait to book another appointment next time I’m in Tahoe!

I usually don’t write reviews but I was very disappointed with this place. I read all the good reviews so we decided to try a couple massage here while we were in South Lake Tahoe during the holidays. I called to make an appointment a few days before we arrived and booked a couple massage at 11:00am. The lady who answered the call asked for my name, phone number and credit card and she said to get there early so we could use their eucalyptus steam room for free.
We were very excited and arrived 30 minutes before our appointment and the front desk lady couldn’t find our reservation. It wasn’t even booked as a different date or time but, nothing in their system at all. The front desk lady even asked me if I called the right place… I showed her the number I called on my phone (only one out going call to South Lake Tahoe number) and she said that’s their phone number. She said nothing she can do and they were booked all day that day. She recommended Elements Day Spa so we called and booked a couple massage there instead but it wasn’t until 2pm. We had a great experience at Elements but our whole day plan was ruined.
I don’t know what happened to our reservation but the whole experience was weird and I’ve never had anything like this happened to me before. While we were there trying to figure out what to do, one customer came out and said thank you for taking her appointment in a short notice… uh what? You can take her short notice appointment but couldn’t find our reservation? We’re not their usual customers so they don’t care about us? We felt mistreated but I didn’t care enough to come here and rant about my bad experience.
That was until 10 days later I got my credit card fraud alert. It might be a coincidence but, this is the only place I gave out my credit card number to, on the phone. I suspect it was whoever I was on the phone with that took my credit card number and never actually put it in the system. The manager might want to look for their employee who worked on December 26^th, 2015. This place is very unprofessional so, I give this place 1 star.

Was able to use my Spafinder gift cards here. My husband and I had our first couple’s massage and our experience was wonderful! I had priced a few places out for couple’s massages in the area and found Biospirit to be the most reasonably priced, and both of our massage therapists, Lindsay and Shelly, gave fantastic massages. We did the 50-​minute anti-​stress massage with a half hour in the steam room beforehand. Shelly was able to gently work out quite a few knots in my shoulders and neck area, giving me much needed relief. Pressure was just right, music and atmosphere of the couple’s room was relaxing. I highly recommend Biospirit.

Wonderful! Got free champagne with our treatments. Each therapist was super sweet and amazing at her job! We were treated so well and they were so polite. Their steam room was awesome as well. We had an amazing spa treatment. I definitely recommend the body scrub and massage. Their robes were super warm and comfortable.

This is a great, cozy little place to get a massage in South Lake. We got a couples massage and were both very satisfied with our massages and didn’t want to leave! We chose to pay a little extra for a whole hour as opposed to the regular 50 min. I have gotten many massages and I’d say it was definitely one of the better ones I’ve received.
If you arrive early enough you can spend some time in the sauna. I’ll definitely be back to BioSpirit if I find myself in South Lake again.

I decided last minute to splurge on a spa day and chose Biospirit’s Tahoe Body Renewal package. Best decision I made in a very long time!
The spa, although small, was well laid out and decorated. I felt stress melt away the moment I walked thru the door. The steam room was a perfect way to start the treatment.
Then three glorious hours with Davis! She was amazing and I will definitely ask for her when I return. BioSpirit Day Spa will be a regular stop on my Tahoe trips!

What a lovely experience my husband and I had here! We had a de-​stress and deep tissue couples massage on Wed 9÷9÷15, from Jennifer and Lindsey.
The warm customer service I received while booking the appointment on the phone was only only a prelude to the welcoming experience we had. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, as well as the option for a steam after the massage (couples can go in there together)!
It is apparent that the all-​female staff is passionate about massage, healing and nourishing the body, mind and spirit. Jennifer and Lindsey were both incredibly gifted massage therapists.
We will definitely return to Biospirit the next time we are in Tahoe!

My husband and I are staying in South Lake Tahoe on our honeymoon and stumbled upon this place on Unilocal when looking to try out a couples massage. Being our first massage experience we were a little bit nervous and apprehensive but the ladies here put us at ease. The steam room was awesome and my massage therapist, Coco, made me feel so comfortable and was out of this world. Coming early to sit in the steam room was also totally worth it. I’d recommend this place to anybody.
We are definitely planning on coming back to Tahoe in the future and when we do, we will definitely be coming back here!
