I’m not sure if the pizza was off-game yesterday or what, because I don’t know where all the«SOGOOD» reviews that lead us to choose this place are coming from. I have had much better pizza. That being said, we could not beat the price, speed and convenience of this place on our way from Zion National Park to the Salt Lake airport. Good-sized piece of pizza, a side salad, and a PBR($ 1!) for about $ 7 is hard to beat. «Express slices» for lunch are no joke! I ordered a slice of «fresh tomato» which is just cheese with a few healthy slices of tomato after it comes out of the oven. It was a great value for good food, and I would come here again. Loved the spacious outdoor seating area with the ceiling fans, which helped circulate the air on a 100-degree day.

The seasonal strawberry pizza was exceptional. The strawberries were wonderful especially paired with the bacon, yum! Large covered outdoor seating, and friendly waitstaff. Would

We’ve loved The Pie in the past, but tonight’s meal was terrible. The Cinne-part was like cardboard. Burnt to a crisp. We complained and were offered a cup of frosting because no one else had complained. The food was black because it was so burned. Poor commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drops The Pie to the bottom of my list for both family meals as well as frequent business team lunches.

I’ve only done take out from the South Jordan location, so won’t comment on anything inside. The staff is friendly, the service is good, the pizza is a little bland and generic, but loaded with ingredients that seem to be fresh and of good quality. I haven’t found pizza in the SLC area that I love yet, but the Pie is a solid choice and my current favorite. It’s not spectacular, but certainly solid and reliable.

If you are ever in Utah, this is a place to come to forsure! I LOVE that they cater to vegans and gluten free! It’s very refreshing. Now being vegan myself, I wish they would use the«Follow your heart» brand of non-dairy cheese. Right now they use Daiya. Daiya’s after taste isn’t the best. Follow your heart is the closest to cheese a vegan can get! I would probably eat their everyday if they did. But any place that has vegan alternatives gets my business. Thank you!

Love this place… tried it for the first time tonight and was impressed. Cool atmosphere and delicious pizza and pull apart bread. Staff were friendly and things were stocked. A++ Will definitely return in the future.

Best pizza you’ll ever eat. End of story. Fun atmosphere and in the summer my kids love playing in the fountain outside.

Holy cheese-lover’s paradise, Batman. Seriously, there is so much cheese on the pizzas here, it’s a little much. The mozzarella is seriously piled on a quarter-inch thick. It tastes very fresh and has a great pull to it, but there seriously seems like 1.5 lbs of cheese on our large pie. The crust is a thick, chewy crust and seems to be baked at a relatively low temperature so that it doesn’t blister. This may be a conscious choice by the chef in order to support the amount of cheese and the fact that it’s so fresh(and thus water-heavy). The sparse sauce doesn’t stay afloat of the dough so that it’s sandwiched between it and the cheese; rather, it seeps into the dough to soften it even more. With the amount of cheese on the pizza, you get the feeling that there is no sauce on the pie at all, but that it’s actually just cheese, dough, and toppings. I couldn’t taste anything seasonings-wise with the sauce. We ordered a pepperoni and Italian sausage pie and were informed that the pepperoni was under the cheese. Not sure what the reasoning was behind that, but it seemed like an incomplete homage to Chicago-style pizza. Regardless, both meats were just«meh.» Nothing special. In the future if I order from The Pie I’ll get one with veggies; I’m curious to see how fresh they would taste. The takeaway? The Pie isn’t bad. It just isn’t great. It’s better than what you’ll get from the mass pizza chains, but it is certainly not«Utah’s Best Pizza» as it claims to be. Pizzeria 712 takes that honor, IMHO.

Amazing pizza. Little pricey. Rude guy working the register. Minus that it’s worth returning.

It is a great place to hang around and they make some really great pizza’s. So how come it is only 3 star? I do not like the concept of not substituting the toppings. If you do not want a topping or two you remove it but you end up paying $ 5 extra for a couple of toppings. I wanted to go the route of «Create your own pizza» since substitution was not allowed, but the math they have did not make sense to me. A $ 12 shiitake pizza will cost you $ 19 if you create the same on your own. In the same way if you take this $ 12 pizza and replace a couple of toppings it will cost you around $ 16-$ 17. So it makes it non customer friendly menu which is targeted only for american’s.

If you’ve ever spent time at The Pie just of the U of U campus, I’m sure you remember it with nostalgia: the dark basement location, the thousand-calorie-per-slice pizza, and the relief of being done with your finals. The Pie will forever live in my heart as a part of the U of U experience. And this satellite location sort of recaptures the magic – in a sanitized, franchise-ish way. The food tastes the same, but everything about the location is a little too«manufactured» for my tastes and it misses the cool,(literally) underground vibe the original location created organically. But, for those of us who no longer live downtown and/or have morphed into mini van-driving parents, this is an easy way to relive memories. The pizza is good. It’s an exercise in excess… too many toppings, too much cheese, and a thick, pillowy crust that’s got too many carbs, but you just sort of go with it. Personally I prefer a more restrained, Neapolitan-style thin crust, but I won’t dock The Pie for being unabashedly over-the-top. This is who they are, and they do it well. This is a good place for the soccer team to meet up after the game or for big families to gather for a meal. You WILL get enough to eat.

Love this place! My wife and I come here a few times a year, and we love it. The cheesey pull-a-parts are great, the pizza is always fantastic and the ranch dressing is delicious. Fun atmosphere, and great food.

Gotta love some Pie! You can’t go to wrong with the Pie Pizzeria. They have a lot of awesome choices for their pizza. The last time we went, we got the Chicken Ranch Pizza and it was awesome. We got the herb crust and it added to the deliciousness. We took the kids and they got their own pepperoni pizza and they were big fans. There is a cool vibe at the place. The night we went they had live music. It gets pretty busy, so try to get there early to snag a good table. Overall a great place to grab a slice!

Our first visit to The Pie was after the movies on a Saturday night late night. We had been given suggestions on where to find great pizza in the area and this place seemed to pop up multiple times, so we figure… might as well give it a try! First of all, kudos to The Pie for being open late! It’s so hard to find a place in this city that opens past 9PM. Also, what an amazing vibe for a pizzeria. There are two levels, one where you order and the second is where you dine in. They have pinball, some arcade machines, and a bunch of flat screen TVs to watch sports and various events. We wanted to order two things to try, so it was suggested that we try a Pull-A-Part and a pizza. Boy oh boy, we didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into. The pizzas here are huge! If you usually order a large pizza to share, order a medium here. They are super generous with their portions here. It was cheese overload! I personally love it, but I know some people gag when the cheese supersedes the sauce… but man, does it hit the spot! If you’re looking for a great pizza in the Salt Lake City area, try to find a location nearest you!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! Order the Stromboli Pizza and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. They also deliver so you can enjoy a slice of pie right at home. I’ve also ordered the Gluten Free cheese pull aparts for my son, very tasty.

You gotta love a pizza joint that offers a variety of signature pizzas, while keeping it tasty. The Pie is a great hang out with so much character. The 1 dollar PBRs and the pepperoni pizza is well worth every penny and more. The vibe at the Pie is probably one of the best in SoJo. The weekends offer a mixed crowd and live music. The fire pit offers a chill spot to sit outside, but not be cold I have tried several different pizzas and have not been disappointed. If you want a treat, try the tare-always. They are in excellent appetizer. The perfect way to start a meal. If you want a cool spot for a beer and a pizza, hit up the pie. If you want a great deal, go before 2 and get the slice of the day!

The Pie has a great atmosphere. My favorite location in in SLC, but usually go to this one in South Jordan because it’s closer to where I live. The third location, in Midvale, is pretty good but I usually choose not to go there. My staple pizza is pineapple and the Pie always makes it well. There’s always a lot of seating at this location(inside and outside) and the pies usually take around 25 minutes depending on the time of day. The pies are big and filling, usually always take home leftovers. Their pull aparts are delicious — cooked fast and make a great appetizer.

I got a 14″ Extreme Veggie + Jalapenos & ½ Chef Salad to go for $ 26.00. The Pizza was Awesome and so was the Salad. I would have gave them 5 Stars except I thought that it should have been more like $ 16.00. I guess that might just be why I was the only one in there a Dinner time.
