I ate here for the first time this week and certainly like it more than Eastern Restaurant which no longer has sushi. The buffet price is a bit higher than similar places I’ve eaten at but they have a decent selection of food including six choices of ice cream plus two fondue flavors (white and regular chocolate) for marshmallows. The restaurant is reasonably clean and there’s even wifi available since it’s part of a Days Inn. I plan to come back here again the next time I’m in South Hill.

Don’t eat the Buffet. NOT worth the money. I prefer ordering the sushi off the menu (made to order) and not bad for the reasonable prices.

The fruits, vegetables and meats had a terrible freezer taste. Any sauces tasted watered down and bland. The best item was the fried fat back. The buffet items lacked any well prepared tasted… bland…bland…bland and once again freezer taste. Some of the deserts were OK, but nothing stood out. The fondue fountain looked like cheap fondue… gritty texture and mottled color… I did not try it. The food items for the fondue dipping were just about out. The preprepared sweet tea had a sour taste. The service was good and friendly… Best part of the visit. The restaurant was clean. I hope they improve.

I enjoy Asian Buffet in the Washington Metro area all the time. Yummy in South Hill Virginia beats them all. Price, service and most importantly quality of the meal. Just of interstate 85.

More like Yucky Buffet. My family and I when there on our way home from a family vacation. The food tasted like it was reheated from the day before and literally everything was disgusting. Normally my family doesn’t leave food on a plate, but half of what we got was inedible. When we did decide to leave, we attempted to get a manager to complain to but it seemed like she may have also been one of the cooks. She refused to give us a discount even though none of us really ate anything. Definitely not worth eleven bucks a person. STAY AWAY! I am a cook in a restaurant and saw some extremely unsanitary things happening in the buffet counters. I can only imagine what’s going on in the back. Finally, my stomach has not stopped being in pain since we left. And I’m honesty afraid I may have gotten food poisoning. Hope this helps.

The facility was new and clean and staff were nice. The food wasn’t that great and some looked old. I don’t think our host spoke English because my entire party ordered drinks wit lemon and no one got lemon and no excuse was offered as to why. I would not go back to this restaurant but only due to quality of food. Everything else was good.

The food here is disgusting! I had to give one star to leave a review. everything is bland n dried out. Over priced n wish we would have just stayed at our hotel n ordered a pizza. I hope I don’t wake up violently ill in the morning. best thing here was the Pepsi. that was great!
Food that should have been hot was cold and food that should have been cold was room temperature. Don’t waste time or money here.

The food I finally received tasted fine. I am vegan and had a simple request no MSG and no Eggs. However, I was taken back when I had to order off the menu fried rice because I asked if I could get fried rice without egg. It is bad customer service.
The waitress stopped taking my now mandatory order to answer her phone. Her breath smelled extremely.
In short the service and customer relations is poor. The restaurant is empty at 5pm so that is not a good sign.
Based on service I would not eat here again. Food is ok.

I hope they continue the variety of foods in the buffet. Worth the $ 10.99 for dinner. We’ll definitely make it a family outing.
