Volcano Coffee

The coffee was okay, and the girls were nice, which is what took my review from a two star to a three star. But I don’t appreciate the predetermined «tip». Giving me a receipt with tips already printed on it, in increments of a dollar, on a three dollar and some change drink is not okay. I don’t know who invented this gimmick, but it’s seriously annoying.

This place is very spacious inside! They have two couches and plenty of sitting space. They also have free wifi and many milk alternatives! They have soy coconut and almond milk! I was super excited for that. Not even Starbucks carries almond milk. I got an iced 12oz almond milk latte. It was only 3.50!!! Sounds good to me. Also there are flyers hung up for a coffee and paint night. I wish they were painting something beside baby groot from guardians of the galaxy lol. I would definitely be there! Although I am sure there are plenty of people that would be excited for that! It’s 40 $ for the materials and a free drink. I will be back, the service was great! I told her that it was my first time and she gave me some good tips. Some of their flavors are homemade which is awesome! I love supporting local companies like that. To top it all off the décor was lovely! The bathroom was gorgeous which I can really appreciate those details. It sets them apart in a world full of coffee shops!

Great coffee and smoothies! We drove by and decided to give it a shot and glad we did. The line was getting long behind us and one of the gals actually came out of the shop and went to the cars to get people’s orders started so they wouldn’t have to wait. Great service!

Very good coffee! The bean is high quality and roasted in a way that it is smooth and not bitter like the competition. The sugar free white chocolate ice coffee is very tasty and the price is right for the size. Shop is very nice and clean, the service is really friendly and fast.

I went twice to this location for coffee thru the drive thru and both times took forever. The second time I went I was with my three month old and he started to cry so I didn’t appreciate the long wait. Took over ten minutes and there was only 2 cars in front of me. There coffee is good but not sure if worth the wait. Need to work on faster drive thru.

Ugh! I sat in line behind one car FOREVER. The barista and the lady in the car in front gabbed for at least five minutes before she left. And to top it all off their coffee sucks. STAY AWAY!!!

The service counter and prep stations need to be cleaner. Debris and coffee grounds, dust and general lack of cleaning in these areas need to be corrected. The service is slow.

All I can say is that this place is AMAZING! Their customer service is top notch and not to mention their coffee is delicious. I just love the fact that the girls are so friendly and nice AND that they know my drink. My husband wanted to surprise me and stopped by there to get me coffee. Being my husband, He forgot what I usually get. Thankfully the girls knew exactly and made my drink perfect. Now that’s what I call customer service!
If you can’t figure out what drink to get, I highly recommend the soy white chocolate mocha. And if you need that extra push, add an extra shot. You won’t be disappointed. Another good drink is the white chocolate caramel if you are more into the sweeter drinks. I still want to try their regular drip coffee one day.

I’m not a huge coffee drinker by any means, but I’m always out the door early and had to wait to pick someone up this morning so I decided to go to Starbucks to waste time. I’ve always seen the vol*ca*no sign whenever I go to Walmart and it’s always busy so I decided why not support a local business this morning and see what it’s all about… The woman helping me at the counter was extremely pleasant and helpful. I told her I’ve never been there and she told me a bunch of her favorites. I ended up getting the hot white chocolate caramel mocha… HOLY COW! It was amazing! By far the best I’ve ever tasted at any coffee shop. I don’t really have the money to get hooked on something but dang, I think I just did. I definitely plan to come back. A+ and above for Volcano.

In the 6 months since we moved to south hill, I’ve driven past Volcano Coffee every time I leave nearby walmart. I always think «we need to try that»…today was the day we finally did. We are huge coffee fans, who love finding local coffee shops (we love anthem coffee as well) and far prefer them to that certain Seattle coffee giant. I got the white mocha and my boyfriend got the americano… we both loved our beverages, and will definitely be back. The flavor was SO good… and didn’t have the burnt, acidic taste that that other place has (not sure how to describe it lol!). I love that they have a drive thru as well… it’s always a plus to not have to get my 4 year old out of the car. :) I will bypass the coffee giant any day for this place. ;)

Pulled into the drive thru and 1:11 left at 1:28 thankfully we were not on a time frame today.
A young lady came out with a sticky note to take our order my husband and I have never been here before so we were a little bummed we didnt get to look at the menu she didnt help us one bit ordering too. Oh well they were busy. When we pulled up the woman was so friendly and so smiley she turned our waiting into us not minding anymore.
I ordered a blended mocha very good, not overly sweet like Starbucks. My husband ordered the hazelnut latte he said its good, little milky no idea what he means!
He was very happy to see how much to tip on the receipt to sign. We are half way down the road and the is street and he is still talking about it.
Hopefully next time I try this place it wont take so long and I get to see a menu next time.

The friendliest baristas around and they make the best coffee around. They make a lot of their own syrups and you can tell the difference. Love this place!

It’s a small place but got great coffee. Their vanilla late is just perfect. Not overly sweet. Service is being very good every time I have been here. Oh and the breakfast sandwiches are a must! Ps. Military discount!

The food and drinks are delicious, customer service is an A+, the environment is cozy, warm, and there are a number of outlets for when your precious electronics run out of juice!
I came to this location after being recommended by a friend, and ended up spending three hours studying for finals here. Although its a bit of a trek from PLU, it was definitely worth the drive. I arrived around lunch time and ordered the turkey Italian bagel. The staff offered to warm up the sandwich and even provided marinara dipping sauce. Automatically my favorite! I also ordered an Italian soda with orange syrup which was quite delicious. After wallowing my sorrows in homework, I was perked up by the most amazing carrot cake cupcake that I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what they put in it, it might as well be crack for how addicting it was.
For the studiously minded people, Volcano has a great number of outlets and open tables. Very cozy and intimate. I would definitely recommend this for group study sessions!

LOVE their coffee better then Starbucks, customer service could be better. But I go for the coffee. I also hate how they kind of give you no choice to not tip lol. Needless I say I tip a dollar almost everyday with my coffee about 4 days a week lol. The white chocolate mocha hot AND cold are delish. So is their regular mocha, hot, cold, or blended. Yummy.

Hands down the best coffee I have ever had! Great ambience, friendly and knowledgeable staff and personalized service. Almost everything that they add to their coffee is homemade, including the pumpkin sauce in fall, which is to die for. Cannot say enough good things about Volcano!

Like I said, this used to be a Forza they changed the name as most Forza’s have been doing– the service here I got was ok, not the best not the worst, but not sure if I will be back.
The smoothie I got, was ok. Had better IMO, and wife liked the coffee she got for the most part.

Cute & cozy little coffee spot, very homey. The barista was very sweet & even brought us our drinks when she was done making them, she didn’t just shout it out like most places do. She made us feel very welcome & taken care of. Our drinks were very good. Will definitely be coming back soon! Also, Wi-​Fi is offered!
