We were ready to trade our two older Jet Skis in on a couple of new ones. We live in Oberlin, OH and tried to find a dealer close by who acted like they wanted our business. One was OK but didn’t have the Yamaha VX Cruisers that we wanted. The one that was the closest to us and only a mile from where our boat is docked failed to respond to three messages that I sent to them. I even sent him one through the Yamaha Waverunner website«have dealer contact me». NOTHING at all. I found Vanderzee online and sent them an email. I got a response within 15 minutes and things just got better and better from there. Not only did they have a pair of the VX Cruisers but they were even in the color that we wanted. We dealt with Joe Johnson and he made us a very fair deal and there was no high pressure or attitude of any kind. Just a fantastic guy to deal with. We pretty much had the deal wrapped up within an hour after I first sent the email. It was a 4 ½ hour drive one way from our house to the dealership. A long day but worth it in every way. I would do it all over again. Everybody we met at Vanderdeez was top notch. The skis were detailed and ready to go when we arrived. The owner came out and greeted us and was such a down to earth nice person. It’s a shame that somebody wanting to purchase a Yamaha Waverunner has to drive so far to find such great people to deal with but if I need anything else that they carry, I will make the trip again.

My friend bought a couple of jet skis and we had no idea what to do to get them started so we brought them up here. They charged the batteries for us and gave us some pointers on how to keep them running. Super friendly service. They also have a huge museum like coke a cola/diner display.

We were new to PWCs and looking in the off season for an affordable family jetski. Vanderzee had a used unit that fit the bill. They negotiated in good faith and were happy to deliver it. We decided to drive over to South Haven in early spring just to take a look at the unit. Very happy we did, not because of the jetski but to meet the family and the operation. They spent a couple of hours walking us through the store and repair area, explaining the differences in units and what will most likely matter to us. Normally, I have a strong dis-trust of salesmen, but Joe was more of a buddy that had extensive experience and wanted to help. Truly an exceptional dealership and group of people. Every aspect was comfortable, fair, and enjoyable. If only used car dealerships would work like this… Nearing the end of last season, our boating friends had used the Jetski we had bought in the earlier post and not surprsinglys had a blast and wanted to buy one of their own. Once again Vanderzee had one but it was newer and higher priced than our friends wanted. I proposed I’ll sell them mine and I’ll buy the one at Vanderzee. Once again Joe gave me a fair deal, made the transaction great so much so that my kids think that is the only place to buy jetskis, quads or motorcycles.
