I have previously had a nice time here(many times) and had enjoyed the food. Tonight was an experience – and not the good type – that I will never forget. Let me prefac and say, this is a dive bar, which is why we love it… but, I specifically asked that all starters came out at same time… they were spread out over half hour, with the wings cold. I better not have food poisoning!!! We were so done by 45 minutes into it, then the food came. Someone did come over and apologized saying«sorry, the cook had too many last night and is not doing well.» Yum. Lost my appetite. They offered us free dessert. My husband, two sons and I just wanted out. I am appalled that they did not discount the meal from hell prepared by the hungover cook. Yuck. you have been warned. Only go here if you have zero expectations

I had high hopes for this place after talking to a local on the beach but unfortunately something went wrong in the kitchen. I am not 100% sure but I think the cook was out with the smoker in back smoking something other then the pulled pork that’s on the menu. We started with onion pedals that where awesome like onion rings but shaped kinda like big flower pedals. The onion was moist inside and the batter was fried to perfection. We also had the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks they where ok, but from freezer to fryer what could go wrong I will say all the sauces where pretty good. I had the gypsy a corn pancake folded over like big taco inside was a smokey pulled pork, cheese, chipotle sauce and green onions. You eat it with a knife and fork it was pretty good and the pork was moist and smokey. The gypsy was by far the best out of everything ordered that day. 2 others had hamburgers both looked like pieces of charcoal they were so over cooked they were almost unrecognizable as hamburgers the buns were also burnt black as coal so at least you can say they were consistent. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich the pork was good but her bun was also burnt black as coal and she could not eat more then half the sandwich because of that. I will say our server was good and very friendly and I bet this place is a fun bar as long as you don’t mind the biker bar feel. The beer was ice cold and I had fun BS’ing with a few people there at the bar but the food was pretty sad and I can’t imagine how a cook wold let such sorry ass over done burgers and buns go out to a table. If half stars where a option i’d give em one and a half stars but there where to many issues for more then that after this visit.

I love love love this place! Food is always delicious the service is excellent and the drinks are nice and cold. Our bike, And that’s motorcycle Group went there last night September 10 and enjoyed their all you can eat brick oven fired pizza. Delish!! The place was packed and still food and service was wonderful. They make a fantastic hamburger and if you’re there on most Fridays and Saturdays the live music is great.

Dinner for four Thursday night. Many different items ordered and they were all great. Burger, pulled pork, broasted chicken, mushroom soup, chili; all the food groups. Cold beers all around. Very attentive service with timely food delivery. It’s all good; enjoy!

What a fantastic restaurant. Driving past for the typical suburbanite may be intimidating and I can imagine wives suggesting that Dad just drive on up the road. But that is a true mistake. We came on Thursday which is all you can eat pizza night for $ 7 adults/$ 5 kids and a full bar and menu as well. The pizza pies came out timely and fresh with a credible mix of toppings with each new pie. Never was a particular type empty or a shortage of options. We were also given homemade blueberry stuffed donut holes to ease the taste buds a bit. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star was the slow service and even then it was not bad. Our waitress was very helpful and obviously overwhelmed during our visit and table of 13. I would suggest this place to any family visiting the area and the value can’t be beat.

This place was recommended to us for their brick oven pizza. We visited it during a torential rainstorm which kept people away from many of the popular local restaurants. Part of a huge number of people who diverged on The Curve Inn all at once, they did an excellent job of accomodating all of us. They brought in tables from the patio, covered a pool table with a cloth, and brought in additional chairs. The two wait staff people quickly regrouped and divided and conquered the tables. We had a young man named Cody who was very personable. Three of the members of our party loved their pizza. One thought the smoked taste was odd. One of the featured items is a werewolf burger which I intent to return and try.

Authentically dialed into another era. Pool table and juxebox, lotto and hunting shows on the big screen oh my! Service was attentive and helpful as we stumbled in late so many things were sold out. Excellent Chicken, great gumbo, burgers. We will be back and delighted to have found.

This place is hit and miss. They were out of chicken on Wednesday, last time we were there they were out of fish. The fries were a huge pile of greasy limp potato strips. It was gut wrenching. The shrimp was soggy and over breaded. That’s it. No more torture for me.

Went here right after buying a car at McFaddens which is just around the corner. The burger hit the spot and if I didn’t have a long drive ahead of me I would have enjoyed their $ 1 drafts.

Have you ever had a burger where the bun falls apart ??? * If not … then this will be a new experience for you. * How about Hot Wings that are the size of an adult chicken wing. * fried chips that taste stale … are not hot … because they’re made ahead of time. * the size of their plastic baskets are way to small … like a small bread basket.

I have rarely seen Fried Blue Gill on any menu ever but this joint has it and it’s really good and priced right! $ 9 for eight pieces. Also try the fantastic mushroom soup. My wife loved her burger. They have a smoker that is used for pork shoulders(duh!) but also used for pizza. Will try on the next visit, but that will only happen if their out of Blue Gill.

Curve Inn advertises that they have the best burgers in town, so that is the reason we went there. The two of us ordered two different burgers and both agreed that they were tasty, but certainly not outstanding. Maybe in a small town like South Haven they are considered«the best» but not if you come from a larger area with more choices. The bar is a local spot, so don’t expect luxury. It looked like they have music on the weekends by the equipment there. On the lunch day we went, it was very cold inside and we had to eat with our coats on. Perhaps if it was crowded, it would be warmer! Everything is old, including the single bathrooms. People tell us the broasted chicken is excellent, so perhaps we’ll try that as a «take out» in the future, but I doubt we’ll go there to eat again.

Would be 5 stars, but the 1 dollar up charge for lettuce was unexpected. Delicious doughnut holes, chilli, gumbo, and mushroom soup.

Our family went here on the way out of town after a nice weekend. I had the chili and it was very good but I wished it would have been hotter. I had the bacon burger with no cheese and it was solid. They had a kick ass jukebox that had anything from old school country to the latest pop music for the kids. Our server did a good job. We also tried the rueben rolls. They were solid. I thought the prices seemed a little high but worth it. They have a decent selection of beers.

Not real thrilled, gave it a shot. No music outside, odd staff and slightly rude, not the greatest food either… kinda run down. Wanted an eve meal but got drinks(sloppily made) and tried an appetizer. Took all I had to choke it down n get the heck out!

We had lunch here last weekend with another couple, and yes looks can be deceiving. I was impressed with the woodfire pizza’s. Scott loved the wings. The décor is very back woods bar and the patio is raw too, very casual. Great service, On the patio they have big picnic tables next to the homemade wood fire grill and bag boards if you are up for a toss. I guess they have live music at times also. I will be back for pizza and beer after a day a the beach. Come as you are. Hungry and thirsty. 2 pizza’s, 1 order of wings, 2 beers, 2 bloodymary’s just a little over $ 60. NICE

I went to The Curve Inn last night. Been going there for years. Had many good times at The Curve, but last night I was so disappointed. We ordered two Captain Morgan and 7up. They were so weak, it was like paying $ 4 for a 7up. How disappointed I was when I left.
