Arbor Antiques

We visited South Haven last weekend for the first time. The first store that we encountered was Arbor Antiques. Although I am not an avid antique hunter, I am always on the lookout for one particular thing.
To my great surprise, i was able to find the item that I collect. I actually found two!!! As we continued to look through the store, it was made very evident that the store was closing and we felt somewhat rushed to make our purchase and leave. When I was at the very cluttered register to pay for my items, the «cashier» was not overly friendly and wasn’t taking much care with my purchases (they were made of glass).
I don’t think that I will be returning to this store in the future just based on the somewhat lackluster reception that was I given.

So, I went in here at the end of September with my sister as we were cruising around all of the quaint little shops in South Haven. I bought a mermaid bottle opener here for $ 9. When I got home I saw my card had been charged over double that for this little item. My attempts to contact the store were not successful and they did not return my correspondance. Watch out for these guys…
