Amazing and I love the freshness of every ingredient here. Locally owned by hard working family that does so much for the community.

Unfortunately after years of great quality Lam Fong Yuen has fallen in quality to mediocre at best. Although the quality of the main entrée is usually still fairly good the pork fried rice and lo mein now taste like its out of a bag and even the egg rolls taste like they are previously frozen. It breaks my heart to update this review but it’s just not the same.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I can’t in good conscience recommend this place if your used to good Chinese take out. Flavor on everything was«off». Can’t describe it, almost felt that nothing was fresh and all fried in old oil.

Quick, friendly service and great food. Gotta thank Unilocal for this one; I’m new to Glens Falls and went to this place based on the fact that everyone seems to have loved this place since their childhood. It definitely hits the spot, and I’ll be back to satisfy my next Chinese food craving.

Been eating here since I was about five, best Chinese food around the area. There’s a reason it’s been here for so long. The food is delicious and it is family owned. The general tso chicken is Cooked perfectly and the chicken tastes as fresh as ever

I always get take out from here when I’m visiting my family. It is always good. Generals tso’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, egg rolls, and won ton soup. All that makes for a great meal.

Well, this was most definitely the worst Chinese food I ever had. I picked this place based solely on all the 5 star reviews here. But, I have to say I am really disappointed in the Unilocal community on this one. The pork dumplings were about the size of a quarter. The vegetable lo mein appeared as if it was cooked and re-cooked about 6 times before it ended up in my take out bag. It could hardly even be considered«vegetable» because there was only about 3 – 4 pieces of worn out broccoli & mushrooms in the whole container. The cold sesame noodles were old, dry and had no taste at all. I don’t understand the 5 star reviews. Please, don’t waste your money.

I have lived in South Glens Falls my whole life, and have eaten chinese food at every local chinese establishment. I always come back to Lam Fong Yuen. Amazing food. Fast service. Actually on my way there momentarily.

Consistently great Chinese food! I grew up in South Glens Falls and now live in San Diego, and no visit back home is complete without a stop at Lam Fong Yuen for some Kung Pao Chicken, House Special Lo Mein, or any of their other great dishes. The food is very affordable across the board, but the lunch specials are particularly cheap. Can’t wait to go back!
