So good! Love it here, & they’re not stingy with their avocado or shrimp :) the workers here are nice too. Try all the salsas they have on the table for you!

This is my go to and I haven’t written a review lol. Best ceviche de Camaron. The shrimp quesadilla is bomb, the camarones Culichi, the empapelada, the mariscoco is the best coctail ever, and when u eat there u get a free cup of spicy shrimp broth. Camarones a la Diabla is good to me because they are not too spicy, but I know people like a more from scratch sauce that is spicier. I’m not a coctail person so idk if they’re all that good. But this place is great mariscos. Shrimp tacos are not good, they are not Baja style. Indulge!

I used to eat here often with my partner and have always enjoyed my food. It’s a casual place. A hole in the wall next to a liquor store kind of place. Many things are sure to help with a hangover. Try their specialty sea food tacos. Some are cheesy and some are spicy. Their oysters! Topped with a juicy shrimp cooked ceviche style drizzled with a spicy salsa and a little bit of lime juice. I smile like a fool every time. … You may bring your own beverage in a cup.

Best spot for ceviche I’ve ever been to! BYOB(low key) makes it x10 better. A little hard to find, but that just gives it the«speakeasy» feel ;) 5 stars!!!

Mi lugar favorito para comer mariscos. Tienen variedad de platillos. Las meseras son muy amables y la espera no es muy larga.

HORRIBLESERVICE we have been waiting for over an hour to get served me and my friend were last to be tended to you would think that because it’s Sunday that they would be fully staffed. If u have nothing better to do than sit around and wait then come here. I personally will not come anymore.

Not many mariscos have jaiva… But this place did and it was amazing! It’s a little sit down place, but service is fairly quick. Prices are decent considering how much they serve you. One tostada de jaiva was enough I had to box the second one to go. Great seafood place!

Great mexican style seafood. This is my go to place for seafood to go. The place no longer serves beer. If you want a sit down spot and have to have a cold beer/chelada with your food, go to the Perihuete on LB Blvd… But then again, if you don’t mind bringng your own, you can BYOB. For whatever reason, I don’t know why, the food on the Tweedy/State location tastes just a tad bit better… Maybe it’s the«hole in the wall» feel that gives it that little extra.

So massive update. My boo and I walked in on Sat as we usually do and there were signs everywhere saying«No alcohol beverages allowed»! I asked one of the waitresses what happened, and she said some person reported the spot and they got fined. What a jerk whoever that was, so shady. I can still live off the tostadas but I just have to wait till I get home to wash it down with a michelada.

I know you guys have had mariscos. but have you had mariscos at Perihuete? Sooooo good. ESPECIALLY after a hangover. this place serves you this great shrimp broth as you are seated, which is great to savor the entrée. I always go for the shrimp ceviche tostadas. They are very tasty! The aguachiles and tacos u yu yuii(or some thing like that) are worth a try.(if you like spicy stuff) the place is small, so don’t think of going on a sunday or Saturday morning. but the service is exceptional given the circumstances. also, its byob and the liquor store is next door. Cant get any better.

Tacos a la U yu yui is a must try, love to be greeted with the Taliban(shrimp consommé). Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is because of the waitresses. Ive had my order screwed up several times before, I think its because they’re more in-tuned with the novelas that are on t.v.

Two of my friends are always talking about this place, so my bf and I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is a bit hidden, My bf and I had a hard time finding it. It’s in between a beauty salon and a liquor store. We walked in and it smell soooo good :) I order a molcajete(best decision ever) it was delicious. It had a little bit of everything! I also had a tostada de ceviche(fish) very very good My bf had fish tacos and he loved them, we shared the molcajete, it was enough for both of us ;) We ended up paying about $ 30.00, drinks included: O now, that’s a great price!!! :) Oh and you can bring your own beer(any drink) that’s awesome!!!(Now I know) We will definitely come back!

Everything my husband and I come to Los Angeles to visit family we make this one of our stops. The food is good I always order the Fillete de Pescado(fish fillete), and my husband orders the Coctel de Camaron con Pulpo(Shrimp and octopus cocktail). This time around the service was OK. We got in sat down and usually they come right up and take your order. This time we waited about 10 minutes before some even acknowledged that we were sitting and waiting. Finally when someone helped us we got attitude from a pregnant lady saying that for future reference their is a bell we need to ring to get helped. Personally I felt like she could of been a little nicer about it. We don’t come here very often to know what changes occur. Another thing is don’t come during a soccer game your food won’t be the same. My fish was cooked with way to much butter not like the other times we’ve been here. They also don’t know that it’s rude to serve one person and not the other right after. They served my husbands food first and I watched him eat for about 10 minutes later. Really his is cold no heating required you could of waited. I gave them four stars because this is the first and I hope the only time this happens. If not I’m going to have to look for another place next time we’re in town.

I have been hearing good things about this place for a while and it wasn’t until this past weekend that I finally got the chance to stop by. I didn’t know this place was BYOB so I sadly came empty handed. The place itself isn’t that big at all and you will easily wait 30 minutes to be seated during the afternoon on a Sunday. Most mariscos spots typically have live music, but they didn’t here. I don’t think there is enough room even if they wanted to play. People come in and out selling all types of random things and although I appreciate the hustle it does get pretty annoying especially when you say«no» over and over again. They have a couple of different options on the menu. The tostadas are packed with goodness and the hot plates are good(tried the stuffed shrimp), but I would suggest to stick with the mariscos, especially if you’re still recovering haha.
