El Grande Motel

Not the nicest but u get what u pay for. I came here before the recent remodel. The only reason why I did not come back was because they did not have a tv where I could plug in my PS3 lmao. I haven’t checked it out since but they put up some new paint maybe they updated the rooms too. I’ll check it out soon.

This place is okay. My boyfriend and I come here most weekends because it’s cheap $ 48 any night (including weekends), plus the $ 5 deposit which is returned to you when you check out. It’s as clean as any other motel. But me and him still take our own blankets and pillows.
There has come funny stories by staying at this motel.
This one time we were there we kept hearing this guy from another room yelling for help and to call the cops. We ignored it for hours (we’re not the type to butt into other peoples beezwax), but once we were trying to sleep, we can not ignore it anymore. So we called the cops. It was pretty funny watching to cops get closer to the room and laughing, before the guy in the room opended his door, me and my boyfriend were already in our room. Apparently, this guy must’ve had been on some crazzy high.
Then, about a week ago, the owner of this little motel is knocking like crazy at 9am, keep in mind, I didn’t go sleep til like 4am, and check out is at 11am. So me and my boyfriend are pissed, we open the door and we see firefighters all over the parking lot trying to put out a fire where the motel owners sleep at, I guesss. In the end, there was no big fire, but the air did smell like pretty incense.
