Randall’s Pancake House & Restaurant

Family friendly, good food and good service. This place is also close to where I live so it will be a definite go-​to breakfast place for outlet family!

My family and I love this restaurant! We used to go into ihop frequently, until we stumbled upon Randall’s and realized we get twice as much food here than we do at ihop and spend the same amount. The owner is so sweet and always makes sure his customers are happy. There are a couple servers there that we don’t care for, but that’s not going to stop us from coming back!(: Thank you for an awesome restaurant!

Yoooo! This place is too bomb. It’s a typical little American pancake house but the food goes in! The prices are real nice. This is the type of place you gotta go to after a long night of drinking, especially if you’re trying to eat good for the loooooowwww. AND they’re super duper generous with their portions. They do not skimp you on anything. That’s some real squad shit right there. They really hook it up. Every server I’ve had were some real sweethearts. Maybe I’m lucky and always missed a shitty server or that restaurant has some real good employees. I’m gonna believe the second one. Food comes thru so fast. Like 10 minutes tops. The food is real smackin. I highly recommend any skillets, Benedicts, and crepes. Actually I recommend everything. They got you real good if you’re looking for that comfort food fix

We had the Denver omelette (standard, but tasty and huge) and the chicken Cesar salad. I was actually surprised the salad was pretty good. Reason for only 3 stars is when we walked in the owner sat us at our table. He said «you don’t look like you’re in a good mood, it’s much easier to be happy then angry»
I don’t know I’m not overly sensitive but that’s all he said to us. And I wasn’t in a bad mood so it was off putting. The bigger reason is the server was just not good, we never got refills and had to wait forever for food, check. She was busy, but having been a server back in the day we were the neglected table. She was overwhelmed and we were that table that suffered, as I saw her giving very good service to all the rest of her tables. Still gave her an excellent tip. (Been there and feel her pain). Any way good place for a quick breakfast/​lunch, you may get good service or not…

Your basic (but above average) breakfast joint. It has everything you could want, good food, fast service and fast food. Prices seem above average but the portions you receive make you think you didn’t pay enough. They have a lunch menu but I can only speak of their breakfast food, which has a very wide variety with almost anything you can think of. My go-​to morning restaurant.

Came here on a weekday and was sat right away and served quickly. The prices are comparable to other breakfast places… I would never call them affordable. They do give you very large portions, more than any one person would need and we were served with lightning speed.
I would also like to note that the server continued to give us coffee once we were done with our meal, where at many places will forget about you. It was a nice touch.

This restaurant is so so. the food isn’t that great but the service is good. My nephew likes the pancakes there. I tried the chicken rice soup and it was too salty. Good but salty.

Absolutely love this place. Tony the owner is a great guy. And is always present every time I go which In my opinion is an excellent thing. Food is good and prices are not too bad.

Went here on a Saturday morning. Place was jammed to overflowing, with people waiting.

you have to wonder why. Is there some aphrodisiac in these eggs, I wondered, as we huddled outside for our shot at these apparently mystically-​infused eggy wonders.
We got moved in fast enough. Faster than I’d expected actually, so score 1 point for that.
Staff was friendly, service was lickety split fast. That I like. I’m not here to dawdle over my omelette. Slap it down, and I’m out in 10 mins.
Menu is extensive. If you can’t find something you’re just being a little biotch. Plenty of options.
Portion sizes are big. I couldn’t finish and neither could anyone else.
Only downside is that there were a ton of families with an amazing amount of kids. No big deal, but the little monsters were running all over the place, screaming like banshees on national banshee day. This is not bad restauranting, however, but bad parenting, so I cannot gig the restaurant on that. Not much they can do to reign that in, really. They appeal to families, with a kiddie menu and prices that won’t kill folks– and they get what they’re after, it would seem.
Really it’s a pretty good place for breakfast and I think it’s likely we’ll go back.

I came to get a to go order Bc I just wanted to try it out. I was welcomed in nicely by the owner. We talked for a bit very nice at first, then! I told him I always go to Briana’s pancake café. I told him about how much I love Briana’s! He then started bashing them and bashing the owner of Briana’s as if he knew the owner at Briana’s. The way he talked about Briana’s was just plain rude and extremely unprofessional! He started talking about his «big» portions and how small the portions were at Briana’s and how Randall’s is cheaper. But to be honest I’d rather pay more for good quality food than cheap, huge portions. But Briana’s is the same price as Randall’s so I don’t understand? I feel like he envied Briana’s pancake café. Very nosey and very unprofessional. Let me get to the part where I opened up my food boxes. Let’s just say, I was very disappointed! I got a cowboy skillet, and the steak was flavorless and extremely chewy! Couldn’t eat it. The blueberry crepes were unappetizing! The blueberries were rotten! And the crepes can’t complete at all to Briana’s crepes! Very flavorless as well. I told the owner I would bring my family to eat, but after that experience and after how rude he was I don’t think so. Won’t bring the family to a place I know has disappointed me to the max. Worst part is, How can you talk so bad about another restaurant when they’re better than yours? Really need to keep his mouth quiet. Because the experience and his allegation about his «great» food didnt go along.

Delicious! Food portions are huge, so bring your appetite! My significant other had the vegetarian skillet he said the veggies were fresh, and it was full of flavor. Good place to bring the kids. Atmosphere is fresh the staff is friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Greasy breakfast food. Will not be coming back. Would love to find a great breakfast place in the area. We need a Walker Brothers or Wildberry in St. Charles.

Always packed but after my husband and I finally got in about a week ago we realized why. The food was delicious!!! Come here to satisfy those breakfast cravings!!!

I have been here more then 25 times I’m guessing and I can’t find anything bad to say about this place other then they don’t serve COKE!!! If they get rid of the yucky Pepsi I’ll give them another star.
The service and food have always been very good especially the bacon is amazing!!!
The owner is always there to meet and greet you, seat you and then take care of your check on the way out. I like that about an owner.

Ok… This place is great. It is a great meal, lots of food and good prices. The menu is HUGE too (lots of choices so if you have varying tastes in your family, you’re covered).
I have NO idea why the star rating is so low! This place is ALWAYS packed so there are a lot of people who agree this place is amazing. This has to be one of the best breakfast places in the county. Worth the drive.
I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service here (been going here regularly since 2011). I think there are just people out there that would complain about how heavy a gold brick is if they had to carry one to a bank!
When you see complainers on Unilocal,ya got to take a second, click on their name and see there other reviews. Typically, they complain about EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING. Sometimes, it’s not the restaurant… It’s the reviewer. Just a thought!

Terrible! Yuck! Gross!!! Breakfast is the easiest meal to make yet I’m convinced my scrambled eggs and bacon came from a steam table and had sat all morning. My food was cold and tasteless. Worse than Denny’s. Nothing redeeming. Will not go back

I know there are bad days for restaurants and for service, but this particular experience was unbelievable.
We went here on a recommendation from a few different people and had high hopes. We waited about 10 minuets to be seated. They were busy, but at the end of their morning rush. Once we sat down, we waited for about 7 minuets to be acknowledged. Once the server did come over, she never even greeted us, she only asked what we wanted to order. Not, «Do you have any questions,» not even a good morning. While we did have questions, we just ordered. The food was brought out. Mine had to be remade, and it was great of the server to catch that before bringing it out, but when she did, it was still wrong. She dropped the check when she dropped my food and never ONCE came back by our table. Even if I HAD wanted to complain about my food, I wouldn’t have been able to. She never asked how anything was, never refilled our coffee or our water, even though we asked more than once. We placed our water glasses at the end of the table hoping someone would walk by and we could ask them for a refill. When the busser did eventually walk by, he only cleared the glasses without asking. We explained we would like refills on the water which had been empty for about 15 minuets. He refilled the water, but when he brought it back he cleared my husbands plate without asking WHILE he was still eating. This included his silverware which left him to stare at his pancakes for the next 10 minutes, unable to eat them, before we could flag someone down. This time instead to ask for new silverware, to ask for a manager because the pancakes were now inedible. The manager listened with sympathy and took care of our bill explaining this type of experience is rare and she hopes we will give them a second chance. I gave my review 2 stars instead of one because the food was decent and the portions more than generous. I also felt the way the manager handled our complaints, without making excuses and simply showing compassion, would make me want to try this place again. But they only get one more chance!
