Optimum Granite & Marble Inc

I wanted granite countertops so I used Optimum Granite and Marble. The selection and installation were not difficult, however a year later the sink fell out, I called for service they said that they would come out in a few days. I needed my kitchen sink so I called a granite expert. It turned out to be installed all wrong. The sink was just glued in with no other support ! The whole project has to be taken apart and redone. Needless to say I would stay way far away from these people!!!

I am posting a second update since we ordered a pick up piece for our table outside. While looking through the remnants at the warehouse, the manager recommended we pick a medium to light color as darker colors would get hot in the sun. I am so happy that we listened to her! We ended up going with giallo ornamental and it looks beautiful! Very satisfied again with this company and sales people.

My husband and I decided to finish our basement bathroom and after several quotes optimum granite was by far the best price but don’t let that fool you!!! The service was horrible! From miscommunication by the salesperson to a receptionist who was clueless but had an attitude. All we needed was a vanity top for a single sink. One would think how hard can this be its not like it’s my entire kitchen just a bathroom counter. I lost count of how many times the receptionist emailed or called me with question after question or to reschedule the measurement. I was starting to wonder if we would even have a sink hole cut out in the piece of remnant granite. When it came time to pick up the granite no one in the back spoke English and the manager wasn’t sure how to process a credit card payment so I was forced to write a check. My husband and I texted what a mess or better said a cluster f***!!! Once we got the granite home we laid it down on a blanket and sure enough a huge chip in the corner of the vanity top and backsplash. Our contractor was wrapping up and now couldn’t install the vanity as planned. My husband had to bring the pieces back to be fixed and then we were told it wouldn’t be until the end of the week that it would be ready. Now we are paying the contractor to come back to install because of their error! We would have been happy with any discount and we were not asking for a complete refund but an apology for the mess and trouble. The owner refused. We won’t be going back when we remodel any other area of our home or recommending them to anyone.

Optimum Granite recently replaced the desk top on our reception desk. The old wood top had seen better days, and the granite replacement is beautiful! The whole experience was great from start to finish, from the measurements to the install, very professional, and priced right!!!

We recently updated our kitchen and looked only at places that offer it all — slabs, fabrication and installation. Ultimately, we went with Optimum Granite & Marble because they had two slabs we loved and their price was unbeatable. It took only 1 week after picking out our slabs for them to come out to measure, fabricate and then install. They sent us a rendering of what our countertops would look like before they cut the stone (nice!). The installers showed up on time and did a great job. All-​around, working with this company was a really good experience.
