Worst service ever! I waited in drive thru for over 15 minutes and I was the only person in drive thru! Ordered an avocado burger came home to realize it was a regular hamburger. Not only did they waste my time but also my money! Worst restaurant ever!

I have given Tasty Choice 2 another try, but again I was let down. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and chili cheese fries. The bacon cheeseburger was pretty okay. But the chili cheese fries on the other hand well they weren’t chili cheese fries they were fries topped with hamburger meat mixed in taco sauce. By far the worst chili cheese fries, if that’s what you want to call them, that I’ve ever tried. Definitely not coming back here again.

I’ve tried this place a few times, I keep coming back because I’ve had one great experience and I was hopping it would repeat itself. No luck the drive thru workers are always so rude the speaker to order has so much static and it makes it hard to hear which only upsets the workers making it seem like it’s my fault.

Horrible service. Waited at the counter trying to order a burger for over 10 minutes. Asked the cashier for well done seasoned fries when I ordered and she replied «they are always well done». I also asked her to not put any dressing on my burger. She rolls her eyes. She charged me and when I asked her for my cup she said she never charged me a drink. I asked her to charge me for one but she said there was a $ 5 minimum to charge my card. By then I was already disgusted. I still bought the drink and an order of suchinni. Cashier named Vivian rolled her eyes when I asked her to lightly salt them. I got to work and the burger was soaked in dressing!!! I called her to let her know I got a wrong order. She replies «you never asked for that». I hung up on her. I later called and asked for a supervisor. I was put on hold for 17 min then my call was disconnected. I tried calling again and there was no answer. I will never go back to this place again. Disgusted by their service and food. Waste of money!

This place never disappoints! Staff was very welcoming, food was fresh, and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. We ordered the family meal (4 burgers, fries, drinks) and it was not only a good deal, but quite filling. It’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back soon!

HORRIBLE!!! I just waited for 10 min at the menu waiting for someone to say something. I began to think the speaker may be broken so I began to drive fwrd when someone finally acknowledged me! So I say yes, hello and again silence for another few minutes (sooo frustrating!) I began to place my order and the girl interrupted me asked me to come to the window instead. I come to the window and place my order and the girl kept getting it wrong
Atleast have the courtesy to acknowledge the car when it pulls up so we dont think the speaker is broken or we are being ignored! Horrible experience!

I have to update my last review. This place has gone down hill since my last review. They changed chefs and the food just doesn’t taste the same. I might go here for a burger in a pinch, but I doubt it; especially with The Zone right down the street. I have also noticed that the newer staff at the drive thru isn’t as nice as the other ladies from before. All in all, I don’t go to Tasty Choice anymore. Bummer because I really loved those mashed potatoes.

Don’t go here!!! The young girl who is the waitress does have a major attitude!!! What happened to service with a smile… I agree with the other Unilocaler someone needs to go to customer service training. Also wth… I ordered a chicken breast dinner and believe me I won’t be coming back here!!! I have no picture to post since I threw it away!!! The dinner salad was ok I give them that but the chicken and vegetables were cold!!! Also chicken was very rubbery and no flavor at all! My fries were soggy since they were on the same plate right next to these vegetables that had water everywhere and the vegetables looked very old… This place should get zero stars gross!

They have great breakfast burritos here. My coworkers and I always get often. Burgers are bomb and the fries!!! Fire! I just tried the wet burrito with green sauce. Damn! It’s bomb! The environment is clean. Real nice after the remodel. Staff is great. Attentive and strive to make every customer feel welcome I love it here

My husband is a truck driver and when he’s in El Monte he always stops here. The service was awesome — Vivian knows my husband by name. The breakfast was half the price of the Denny’s meal we ate the day before and was way better. I would have never thought this little place would make such amazing Belgium waffles! I’ve only had the breakfast but my husband says everything is delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Oh man dont come here for breakfast if you’re in a hurry. Whatever you do… Dont order from the young chick if possible. She has a freaking attitude and she forgets your order and doesn’t even apologize for your «to go» order taking 15 – 20 mins. Someone needs to take a customer service class. Lost my service and my whole company that i encourage to come here because of the great customer service of «thia» too bad they bad apple. Sorry

We have been coming here over a year and we are absolutely love foods! Kari and I are deaf, every time we stop by and Vivian always give us a paper and pen so we can order foods. She’s very patient and eager to learn sign language. Thumb up!

The employees are fantastic and love to have fun and lol with the customers. Must say that the food is good you must come visit Vivian she will make your day and make the best salad dressing ever… I have been coming here for a year and will continue coming.

I can’t even begin to tell you have impressed I am with this place. I put in a huge order 35 burritos plus a couple combos for my employees. The staff was amazing, so helpful and friendly even a few of the regulars helped me carry stuff to my car. They were amazing. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was great too. I highly recommend this place, my only regret is not coming sooner!

I’m disappointed with this place. I came in and had the steak combo, for that price it wasn’t that good. Also, I had a corn dog on the side and it was greasy. When my order came in, I asked for some ranch and I was informed that the ranch was .50 cents. I told the girl that I didn’t wanted it, simply because I was not gonna run my debit card again for 50 cents. I also had to asked for the mustard. I mean, come on. I know small business have overhead costs, but when they do the pricing on the menu, they should take into consideration all those little things. To me, that was a deal breaker. I don’t think I have ever gone back to a place that charges for ranch.

I use to come here when It was called Ms. Piggys. They’ve updated the building since then and added a drive thru.
They do seem to have a lot of specials but I came around 4:00pm when the breakfast specials were over and the afternoon specials haven’t started yet.
I paid around $ 6 for a burger, fries, and a drink; about the average price everywhere. The burger and fries taste like everywhere else too.
Overall this is just a typical burger place.

This place is good however the wait is unacceptable. Every time I go there I wait an average of 10 – 12 minutes in the DRIVE-​THRU. I just left there now and waited 10 minutes and there was only one car ahead of me.

I was skeptical from the reviews on Unilocal.It seemed very flip-​floppy — one side LOVED Tasty Choice, the other HATED it. But I tried it because the place I originally wanted to go to was closed for the evening.
Anyway, I took the drive thru. It was a weird loop and kind of unnecessary. Moving on, there are a lot of choices on the menu. Everything made my mouth water. They had this deal (89 cents for a quarter pound burger), but it was only for the weekdays. I was going on a weekend so I ordered a pastrami burger with asada fries. I have no idea why it’s not called «carne asada fries» because they thought I said «a side of fries». I had to correct the order when I rode up to the window.
The service was good. The person who took my order was nice and didn’t throw a fit when I corrected the mistake. From the car, I could see the chefs cook my food so I knew my food was fresh. I’m not sure how it’s like for other times of the day. I do have to say that wait was really long though.
Now for the food:
— Pastrami burger was massive. There was a lot of pastrami! The fillings was also a good balance to the burger. For the beef patty, it was not undercooked. Some reviews stated that their food wasn’t cooked all the way; I did not experience this. Also the beef tasted okay. It met my expectation.
— There were a lot of fries. I thought it was delicious besides a few things. I wish there was more cheese. It was almost non existent. The guac and sour cream didn’t taste that fresh… The asada was okay, but you can tell it’s low quality.
Overall, I thought Tasty Choice is good. I would totally come back to try something new when I’m bored with my usual options, but I would probably stick to the burgers and fries.
