Boulevard Flowers has anything you need for plants, fertilizer, fungicide, pots, seeds, bird supplies, and a tremendous array of plants! I love to go on Saturday for the farmer’s market, so many vendors with cool stuff!

What a very special place! A friend at church gave the most glowing recommendation for this place, so I had to go. I have since been back many, many times, and I have fallen in love Sometimes, I cannot even lie, I just drive half an hour or so out here just to be among the beauty of so many gorgeous, unique, incredibly well-cared-for plants. I just feel so fortunate to have this place. All of the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about gardening too. The arborist, Brendan, is just ridiculous. He is so good, so well-versed in his field, and he even remembers not just customers, but even what they purchased! I am talking an entire year later! This man is incredible! He has helped me so much with my garden. This place is always buzzing, but the layout makes it feel so peaceful, never crowded or overwhelming. It’s just a beautiful place to stroll. They have such a wide variety of unique plants in different colors and types. They have exotics as well. You can always find many different types of whatever items you find. There are lots of heirlooms and tons of varieties of each fruit tree or plant. I love that they are focused on organic gardening, so it’s easy to find organic items of all kinds. Best of all, when you talk to the staff, you get great organic gardening tips and tricks, not just a bunch of harsh chemicals, as you do elsewhere. They have THE best soil options in town. I LOVE that they have Blue Ridge Compost. It’s really great stuff! Best of all, every time I go in, there’s always a sale on something. Even if it’s not an official sale, something I want is always marked down. They also do lots of events, like a farmer’s market, egg hunts and mazes, hay rides, etc. I can’t wait to make it out one day for the community yard sale. Honestly, though, I don’t care if there is nothing going on, coming to Boulevard just gives me such joy and peace. My soul just feels at rest there. Thank you for such a great business into which you have poured out such passion! Note: What the hours on Sundays. They close at 3 or 4 on Sundays now. It’s an hour earlier than their current recording as of 8÷6÷15.

This review is strictly for the lunch café. I was working nearby and stopped for a sandwich. I ordered the turkey, cranberry and gouda on wheat. The sandwich was made fresh and the fruit side was also fresh. I spoke with three women working there and they were all very pleasant. The food was delicious, I will stop back. Deciding whether to have the same sandwich or try something new will be difficult, so I’ll leave that for another day. This is the best lunch spot I have found in the Colonial Heights area. I will much prefer coming back here than going to Panera.

I called Boulevard Flower Gardens about a week ago and ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to one of my friends. I’m from out of town and wanted to use a local florist so I didn’t have to pay shipping like with the national flower companies. It was almost 3pm, so I figured I’d have to schedule my delivery for the next day. Not only did they say they could deliver same day, my friend called to thank me for the flowers less than 2 hours later! I was very impressed.
