1-800-GOT-JUNK? Vermont

I’ve never used 1800 got junk before, but I scheduled a pick up this morning, excited to get rid of this couch! They said I would get a call by 12 with an estimated time as my appointment was scheduled between 12 – 2, but no call. It’s after 2 and they never showed up or called to say they would be late. Oh well, I cancelled because I unfortunately can’t wait all day, which is why I had an appointment!
Update: Aaron, the owner from the S Burlington office, just called and apologized as it must be a glitch in their system as they didn’t see my appointment. We so appreciate the prompt call and offering of fixing it for us! We will most definitely keep them in mind next time, except maybe I will call in the appointment next time! Thanks Aaron!

BEWARE! The guys that came to the house left two huge scratches in my wood floors. On the phone afterwards, the one guy denied knowing anything about it and asked me to send a picture. I sent the picture and got an email back telling me I would not be charged for the visit because of the damage. It was $ 400 to get the scratches fixed, which was not even close to covered by the $ 125 worth of junk-​hauling they did. So I sent the bill to them, asking to be reimbursed for the difference ($ 275). The owner called me that day and claimed they never received a picture or saw the damage!!! I resent the email with the picture, as well as the response I had gotten from his employee. That was one week ago and so far I have gotten no responses from my phone calls or emails. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE and OVERALL DISHONESTY and avoidance displayed by this company. Any good business should own up to its mistakes and reimburse customers for damage done to their personal property by company employees. SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I hope you know someone with a pickup truck cause you definitely don’t wanna call these guys!!!

Prompt, courteous, efficient and easy… what more can you ask for? The junk guys arrived early this morning and quickly removed a huge pile of yard and construction waste for me, saving me multiple trips to the dump. Worth every penny.
