I just had an amazing pizza! I am traveling and used Unilocal to find a good local pizza joint and I am happy to say the Unilocal reviews nailed it! Not fancy and looked uninviting outside and in but I took one of the reviewers advice and got it to go. Service to check out was great and again the pizza was awesome! I ordered a sausage, pepperoni, green pepper and onion with extra cheese… yuuuuuummmmmyyyy!

Best pizza in town. When guests and business associates come to town this is where they want to go because there’s not many pizzas like the ones they serve such as the house special. Just don’t go on a hot day and dine in. It gets a little stuffy. But other than that, great place

Great family friendly environment. We had the Dinis Sub & Cheese Steak Sub. The sub sandwich bread was so fresh, we did not ask but it had to be homemade. All in all we had a wonderful dinner. When in South Boston we recommend you stop in and grab a bite. Ooh yeah sorry we forgot our sever name, but she was very professional and got all the orders right (and they were request outside the menu).

My particular waitress was a bit lacking in the courtesy and overall niceties department but the owners are lovely! I just wish there hadn’t been a man shouting really inappropriate commentary the entire time I had lunch there…
But on to the meat of this review! the pizza was simply revolutionary! I had a regular 12″ cheese and the crust was baked to perfection, clearly handmade and unlike any other pizza crust I have had in a long time. The cheese and sauces on the pizza were also divine! To put it simply this is the BEST pizza I have ever had. Actually, when I moved back to Orlando I would crave Dinis Brothers to the point of agony. There is simply no comparison. I would honestly make the long drive just for the pizza.
The only things I wish I could change about this place are the interior and some of the servers… The place looks very outdated and unkempt and if you appear to be from out of town the servers are very rude and tend to only play attention to the regulars. However despite all of that I think if the owners wanted to branch out and move Dinis Bros to a more metropolitan area and obviously redecorate they could be, potentially, very successful. I really do wish I could give this place a perfect rating based on the pizza alone but unfortunately I was so uncomfortable and setting is just as important.
In short… Get the pizza to go

I went to visit my mother this past weekend and asked her for a few good spots to eat. Well, she recommends this place. We used to eat here when I was younger. I had eaten here like 5 years ago with our little ones and I was very dissatisfied and unhappy.
Anyway, she pulls out a slice of leftover pizza, heats it up and asks me to try it. Let me tell you I felt like Anton Ego from Ratatouille. I was blasted back to my childhood eating at Dinis Brothers, wondering how you could make a pizza look like an actual pie with toppings tucked under cheese. The second taste I went in for slipped off my fork and hit the floor. I thought I was 5 and almost picked it up and ate it. (Just kidding) but seriously folks, this pizza is THAT good, and I was eating leftovers. just don’t order plain cheese. I think that was our mistake from 5 years ago. Then, our littles didn’t eat toppings. Now they do, so yeah, we’re gonna give it a go in about a week. My mouth has been drooling since I left my mama’s. Go Dinis Brothers!!! And thanks Mom!

The best pizza in Halifax/SoBo…and possibly Virginia! I live in the DC metro area and we always go here when we visit home. I’ve been trying to find a place like it here but no luck!

Just happened to find this restaurant with the GPS. Best pizza we have had in years. I would drive 2 hours to eat pizza here again. Great cheese, baked perfectly. Even the sweet tea was good. A+++

For us it is always the House Special for a pizza. Best pizza ever. It may be a dated location, but well worth your visit.

Great Pizza! I ordered meat lover with half pineapple instead of pepperoni. Unlike other big pizza chain just sprinkle a few of each meat. They actually filled the whole pizza with meats! But with the meats were so heavy and the crust was crispy and thin, it can easily falls apart, you do need some precaution when you eat it.
I forgot to ask for double pineapple but they sure have enough pineapple for me with single portion.

No, not the best pizza in south boston. It is the best pizza ANYWHERE! Long story short: I’m from Greensboro, NC. Was on a road trip. Pulled this pizza place off the smartphone while driving thru going home.
I am a pizza aficionado. I have NEVER had such a good pizza. My wife and I were both audibly moaning out loud as we drove down the road eating this pizza. It was perfectly blended. Perfect crust. Not too much marinara sauce as others do. The correct amount of sauce allowed the TERRIFIC blend of cheeses flavors to come thru. My biggest regret is this place is not close to home. This is probably the first and last time I will ever get to enjoy their pizza. Darn!

I love it! I crave this pizza from across state lines. I wish there was something this good in Raleigh.

Justed moved to South Boston and from the North East which is true pizza town… Ill say this is very good pizza… Alot like Chicago style pizza. Looks like the best in town so will return… great place!!!

Simply THE best pizza in South Boston. I was here for weeks after moving before I was told about Dinis Bros. Not always certain how to pronounce their name (looks like Dee-​Nees to me, but to locals it’s Dennis) but have no doubt they make the best pizza pies. The rest of the menu is fine (one of only 2 Gyro joints in town) but for a couple pitchers and a big pie, this place is the best. They have a savory, meaty sauce, plenty of REAL toppings I look for (broccoli, anchovies), and friendly staff and owner. Inside is kind of a dive, though that’s part of the charm, along with the jukebox and CLASSIC tabletop Mrs PacMan arcade game. BE ADVISED — If you’re a non smoker, it can be really hard to get away from the smoke fumes. Only really sucky thing about the place.
