For a place that markets itself as an upscale wedding reception venue in a city that is not a safe city… I’m disgusted. Discussing what the management told me is a joke. F**k this place.
They refused to admit that their shitty shady staff probably stole all this stuff… and refused to even entertain the idea that their uneducated criminals that work there under the façade of being a sophisticated venue would take people’s belongings. I sincerely hope that no one EVER books this place for any venue and that this place rots in hell like it should.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN INDIANA! It’s been a year and a half since my husband and I had our cocktail reception and wedding reception in the Morris Civic Theatre lobby and the Palais Royal Ballroom (respectively) and we are STILL getting compliments on how amazing our wedding was. These two venues are the most elegant and beautiful spaces that I’ve seen in Indiana, especially for the price. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not cheap by any means, but compared to some of the other venues we visited, you don’t get nearly as much bang for your buck as you do with this place. The staff was super accommodating and helped us through everything — you do have to use their caterer, but we brought in our own decorator and décor, cake, menus, band, photographer, videographer, etc. and they have a great list of people that they recommend as well and we used a few of them with great results. Plan ahead though, of course, as it books up pretty quick! But trust me, you won’t be disappointed with the unbelievable 40 ft ceilings, gorgeous classic décor, chandeliers, etc. AMAZING!
We also booked the host hotel at the Doubletree just down the street, the rehearsal dinner at the LaSalle Grille, and the ceremony at a church closeby at the St. Paul’s Memorial United Methodist Church which was also gorgeous! So convenient to have everything so close and easy to get to. Definitely recommend it! :)
