Good service but unclean. The busser did not clean the tables well, didn’t clean under the tables and it was unappealing. Very unclean.

They serve great breakfast food. I usually get their waffle with strawberries and vanilla ice cream. I like going in the evenings when it’s less busy. Weekend morning are usually a zoo but they do a good job of getting you seated.

Open 24 hours! We suddenly remembered that we had been here once before. Not too far from NOTREDAME . I opted for the Greek chicken and my husband went with the chopped sirloin. REAL. mashed potatoes! I had the Greek salad instead of a boring dinner salad. Hubs had the cream of chicken soup. Very good food. good service

Open 24 hours a day and pretty good food! Kind service that never disappoints. Been here several times at all hours of the day/night and it’s always awesome! Love their omelettes! I’m also a sucker for a great diner.

Open 24 hours and breakfast anytime? Awesome! Food is excellent and so is the service. I went there literally in the middle of the night(2:30AM) and found it to be an oasis in the nocturnal desert of closed or fast food joints. I ordered one of the skillets which kept me filled for the next 12 hours and it was delicious. I plan to swing by there during daytime hours to sample their non-breakfast entrees.

It’s a good, old-fashioned Greek diner. I came for the first time, craving a familiar tuna melt and chocolate shake. They delivered. Just like the Greek diner back home. Service was very friendly and prompt. I only wish French fries didn’t cost extra.

My friend and I had a very nice meal here. The gyros were tasty. Huge portions. The place is very clean and the staff is nice. The downside is that the whole place needs a total renovation. The bathrooms are not handicap accessible. The décor is from the 70’s.

I had a few reservations about Nick’s after reading about bad service and harassment on Unilocal.Having gone there multiple times now at varying hours during the day and night, I can say that this diner is fantastic. Wonderful service, great food, great prices, open 24/7, and all day breakfast! Definitely worth checking out.

Ive been here so many times over the last 20 yrs. in general I think it has gone into decline, but you can still get a solid sandwich or breakfast here. I’ m fond of the chicken soup, the ribs are pretty good, taco salad can be great. It definitely is not as clean as it used to be, but Ive had many breakfasts here… a few in the wee hours of the morning, and many fond memories.

I dined here one Saturday morning and it changed my life. The food here is breathtaking. Easily the best restaurant on Ironwood Drive and that’s saying something, believe you me.

I don’t write reviews. Ever. The food here was so good, I had to write one. 5 stars isn’t enough. Croissant with ham and cheese scramble was incredible. Short stack a la mode was mouth-watering. Wasn’t even drunk. Easy choice.

I cannot write a less than positive review about Nicks. I have been going there too long to get caught up in the once or twice in 20 years they have pissed me off. Plus, I have been there way too many times way too high to function, as in after a 10 hour shift at the bar, to bitch. Even though they raise the prices after 10 o clock, I see why when I see what they have to deal with when the drunken domers come in. Like to take some of those punks out back and teach then a lesson in manners myself, y’know what I mean? Great omelettes, the occasional hot waitress…

I’ve been going to Nick’s patio my entire life and honestly for the price and the size of food that you get this deserves 5 stars. the décor inside is dated yes, but this place is open 24 hours and only closes on major holidays then their workers can spend time with their family. so if you come to South Bend for Notre Dame game, or any of the other activities that the community provides.

Well, this place is kind of a dump/dive. Our waitress was competent but … distracted or something. Probably saw 2 old ladies coming in after church,(yes, church on Sat. nite, –Mom wanted me to visit hers) and thought the tip wouldn’t be worth the effort. I like to tip well for good service — but service was fair at best. But the food! We both had the stuffed chicken breast. It was delicious! Grilled chicken breast stuffed with broccoli and cheese. The broccoli was bright green, tasted fresh with the tips charred on the grill… it was really good. The meal included soup(or salad) and dessert. It was a good, tasty meal at a good price. After reading the other reviews — there weren’t any assholes in the place when we were there… but it might explain the demeanor of our server.

Pretty dirty, not terrible but not super good. Good food, We had steak, hash brown, eggs, toast, pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. Our waitress was amiable and speedy, which was a plus.

Average breakfast food. Ordered vegetarian skillet which was fine except for the slice of processed American cheese over the veggies. Yuck. Service was friendly and server was pleasant.

I’ve been to Nick’s Patio too many times to count over the years. Back in the day, it was the place to go for a late night breakfast after a night out(I’m sure it still is, I’m just too old to partake in those shennigans nowadays!). It’s your typical Greek diner, open 24 hours a day, huge menu, great breakfasts, good sandwiches, homemade soups and desserts that you are always too full to try. The place is usually crowded, but I’ve rarely had to wait. As soon as you are seated, your waters appear and the waitress is usually not far behind. And speaking of waitresses, most of them are career waitresses and have been at Nick’s forever. They are friendly, quick and always remember the regulars(seems to be a lot of them every time we are there). The coffee is good and your cup is never empty… I swear I end up drinking at least a pot every time I am there. They serve breakfast 24 hours a day and have just about anything you could want. One of my go to favs is the house omelet with ham, green peppers, onions and a ton of feta cheese. The omelets are huge and include home fries and toast. Most items range from $ 6 – 8. Lunch is also good and they feature a variety of homemade soups, which vary each day. Salads are large and fresh(although a little boring with just iceberg lettuce). Service is fast even when the place is packed so it’s easy to get in and out in less than an hour. Our bill for breakfast and lunch for two is typically around $ 17, which is very reasonable for the amount of food.

Good to know that this restaurant likes people who come in and harass other customers. Also good to know that they don’t care if people yell slurs/offensive language and talk about how they want to be violent towards women. If you’re an asshole, this is the restaurant to go to. Otherwise, management is just going to tell you to sit down and shut up if you feel uncomfortable about being called a whore and about someone threatening to rape you. Also that gyro looks fucking pathetic.
