The food was very good! I ordered 4 pork and cheese papusas and they were delicious. If possible, I would order ahead as they take a little while to make. The owner was very helpful and sweet, helping me make my choice. I arrived right at 11am so I can’t speak for how busy it gets. Would definitely return!

Great food! Best as take out or a if you’re going by yourself. If you want to feed more than two people definitely suggest ordering ahead and taking out. Not conducive to large parties, and it’s a one woman show so prep for large orders can take a while. Also, it’s cash only.

I recommend calling beforehand and ordering because it takes awhile for the pupusas to be prepared and made freshly. Beef and cheese pupusa is no longer available like the picture menu says. Great food!

Love little adorable Girasol… always worried they might be closed someday for being such a well-​hidden gem in an odd location! The pupusas are AMAZING and authentic and crave-​able. Such a balance of savory and acidic and always always always prepared fresh. Would really miss these if I ever moved away!!! Keep doing Salvadorian cuisine proud, Girasol!!!
The Papusas here are excellent! When I went there was one lady behind the counter who took our order and then made our 15 Papusas by hand in the back (you can see through a window). As far as the seating goes, there is one table for four and a row of bar seating in the building. Outside there are also some stone tables. This would be a great place for small groups or to take to go.
