I try to buy products and services locally whenever possible. However, I don’t like being treated with poor service and bad attitudes when I’m spending my money. There are plenty of other appliance options out there that I will be purchasing from in the future.

Just purchased my second appliance from Landis and really had a terrific experience. In the past got burned when I bought appliances from a box store. With Landis, if you need service a local delivery man comes to your house and fixes the problem until it’s right. With the box stores, they use a third-party service, in my experience, called a and e, which was generally terrible. Landis’ prices are competitive, the sales people are knowledgeable, delivery is fast, installation as seamless, and you’re supporting a local store. If you pay cash/check, you get one year extended on your full warranty beyond the manufacturers warranty free. With the first appliance a purchase, a range, I did require service. 18 months after owning the range the heating element failed. Landis’ service was quick, responsive, and totally free. Within 24 hours my oven was working again.

STAYAWAY! I got their information from service because my new refrigerator has a problem with the ice maker. N.F. Landis and Son is a certified repair for Frigidaire. When I called to make an appointment I was first asked if I could PROVE I bought the refrigerator! And by proof, they wanted the receipt. I said I got their phone number from Frigidaire and that I purchased the refrigerator on line. She puts me on hold and a few minutes later tells me they won’t honor the warranty because I purchased the refrigerator online. When I asked WHY that matter, she again said they needed proof I purchased the refrigerator, she then added her«service manager» told her to ask. And for the second time I told her I had a receipt. Finally I lost it, and said I would contact Frigidaire and let them know how I was treated. STAYAWAYFROM N.F. LANDISANDSON Appliances Inc. Customer Service is NOT a quality the posses.

No thanks. We purchased an appliance that needed installation. We had major problems with the unit from the start due to the installation. We were given a hard time. We wanted them to repair their faulty installation, but they wanted to charge us for doing so! They should have installed it correctly from the start and then stood by their work, but they didn’t! Do you really think Id’ buy something from them ever again? NOWAY!

I just had the most wonderful experience at N.F. Landis & Son Inc. Our old stove broke. Like really broke. We went into N.F. Landis with a VERY strict budget. We walked out less than 30 minutes later extremely happy and now very loyal customers! We could not spend the money on something brand new and it turns out they have USED appliances! They’re like new, but gently used, and the one we chose was in our price range! They were awesome, and I would totally recommend them again and again!
