I was praying he’d be «the one.»
I have seen so many anxiety and panic psychologists over the decades. He is gentle, for sure. Finally, however, I had to stop seeing him because he just didn’t get me and my particular panic issues.
Nothing special, just long-​standing issues.
Really, he’d be a SUPER doctor for a person relatively new to the whole panic thing. He has a CD that would help a panic-​newbie. Unfortunately, I have dozens of CDs that say the exact same message.
Also, maybe this just gets on my nerves, but he speaks so s-​l-​o-​w-​l-​y. I just wanted to jump in and finish his sentences. Sadly, I never left a session with an iota of new and helpful information. And, I went quite a few times to give him a fair chance. Again, it’s probably because I’ve had anxiety for years.
So, my recommendation? New to the wonderfully torturous world of panic? Then, Dr. Dufford is your man.
Been around the block? Well, I have, and I wasn’t helped at all.
