Crum Michael Concrete

Mike Crum just finished a rather complicated driveway for us. It was a steep up slope, with post footings, and a compound curve to a side parking area. It was a two color pour with bands and curbs. The short of it? What a beautiful job. Mike is a real pro. One of the best contractors I’ve ever used, and he is very easy to work with. Mike turned my ideas, and drawings into reality. I liked his attention to detail, his excellent suggestions, the way he solved problems without any drama, and the way he worked with me to do our driveway the way we wanted it done. On our project Mike worked with his son, and a crew of 5 or 6, all of whom seemed skilled and well organized. Another thing I liked about this contractor is that he didn’t try to nickel and dime me to death. He more or less stayed within the bid price (which was very fair) even after a number of changes. If he thinks something is not a good idea, or is something he really doesn’t want to do, he might say, «Yeah, we can do that … it’s kind of expensive … about another dollar a foot.» Mike is very good at designing and helped me with a basic plan. I took his sketch included with the bid and did a detailed drawing using his ideas as a guide. I’m still a little surprised at how nice it turned out. If you want professional quality at a reasonable price, call Mike. Highly recommended.

We recently hired Mike Crum for the second time for our home improvement projects, and will hire him again when the need arises. He has an uncanny eye for possibilities, he arrives and finishes on schedule, his crew is skilled, respectful, and seem to work seamlessly together, and he is a perfectionist about the quality of his work. He did a beautiful stamped and tinted driveway and front entrance for us a few years ago which continues to draw compliments. Just lately he recreated what had been an awkward back entrance and pathway, a smaller job, and we and delighted with that as well. We wholeheartedly recommend him as a contractor and a super nice guy!
