Gentle, professional, absolutely the best chiropractor. I’ve seen a lot of chiropractors in my life, all good but all moved elsewhere. Here’s the scoop: I was in bike vs car accident in late 2012 where my right knee absorbing most of the impact. A year seeing a highly regarded sports medicine doc and three months of intense physical therapy showed little improvement. I asked my Attorney’s at Wiles Law for a chiropractic recommendation and was given Dan Colfer. I didn’t go see Dan for my knee or lateral retinaculum but for what I figured out causing lower back pain and unstable posture was pelvic tilt. We tried deep tissue massages which didn’t work, then the old tried and true spinal manipulation was given a go. After several visits I felt the right hip let go and this overwhelming warm looseness was felt in my lower back. A big relief thanks to Dan.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Dan for 15+ years for a variety of issues, and he has helped me successfully overcome and heal from all physical challenges. I started seeing him after a horrific snowboard accident, and paired with another amazing healer– ‘Per Halland –Adv. Rolfer’, they literally put me back together and have allowed me to not only heal from the accident(s) but also bring me back to near 100% mobility, flexibility and proper structural alignment. I still see Dan every month or so for maintenance, and consider Kathy and him good friends, who are two of the nicest, most genuine people you will meet.

Ah, Dan Colfer… I look forward to going to this chiropractor SOSO much. Each appointment is an hour long and starts with a significant massage. Dr. Colfer has some serious magic going on in his fingers too. Honest, he will find the spots and tell YOU where you are sore(and he is right)! He likes to initiate with a massage to get you loose and relaxed and it really does work. I don’t know the proper terms that should be used here but Dr. Colfer uses manual adjustment — not that spring loaded weird tool thing that I have had the unfortunate experience of being subjected to in the past. I’m sure he has one of those and could use it if you requested but I believe that his default is your«normal» manual adjustment.(yay) I always leave with all my ailments addressed and feeling 100% better than I did walking in. In addition, he is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is super super super kind and once gave me a «quickie» when I happened to be in there for something else and didn’t even have an appointment. Really, this is not only the best chiro I’ve ever been to but also the best Dr. I currently have. Because he spends so much time with each patient(for a nominal fee btw), you do have to make an appointment and it will probably take a couple of weeks to get in. I swear though, it is absolutely worth it. Dr. Colfers wife, Cathy, works part time as the receptionist and is equally kind. She is very helpful and will provide you with a receipt for your insurance. FYI, they do not take cards so bring your checkbook. If you are looking for a chiropractor, this is your only choice. Don’t even think twice, call and make an appointment today.
