I was bummed we actually did not get to try this place. It had great reviews from just a few months ago, but it was my fault for not checking directly with the place before driving there only to find it closed. :-(They are closed indefinitely due to the drought. When I called the phone number, it did state that. So I should have checked before I went. Bummer we did not get to fish, but we did end up having a great time in nearby Columbia HIstoric Park.

This place is the best if you want to take the kids fishing and have a guaranteed chance at catching something! The kids and adults had a blast and the fish was excellent to eat.

For what this place is, it is great. You show up, she gives you some cubed cheese a net and a bucket. You can use their poles or your own. Then you fish for trout in what seems like a big pool. This place is made for kids, adults might get bored. Be careful because you buy everything you catch. We caught 7 and paid $ 52. She does give you a quick lesson on how to cook it and let me say it was the best trout I have ever eaten! My kids would love to go back! Oh and CASH or CHECK only!

Love it! Our son needed to build his confidence with regards to fishing and this was the perfect place. Our daughter is already an excellent fisher-woman. Super nice owners. We went last summer in 100+ degree weather but brought sodas and water to keep us cool. Fun for all. We watched other folks struggle to pull up anything but we were catching fish like crazy! We used the bait and poles provided and did great! You pay for what you catch so we finally had to ask our kids to stop after eight or so fish! :). They also clean and wrap your catch for you. Very nice.

Super fun! Wow! What a great find! This place is a family trout farm open to the public with a cool trout pond(pool) where you can fish for them! No license and you only pay for the fish you catch($ 7-$ 12 each). The lady who lives there is so nice and happy that kids come catch fish at her place. My favorite part is that you can bring your own picnic and chill in the grassy shade. Free parking(and byob) beer and wine is OK! A great place to spend an afternoon, family or romantic.
