Corner Space Cakes

Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful, and the other mini desserts we had were just as amazing! Everything with delivery went well and smoothly. Definitely an amazing vendor that makes another aspect of a wedding stress free!

We hired Andrea for the dessert at our wedding. We opted for one small cake for us to cut and cake pops for our guests. Everything was fantastic and just as we’d hoped. Our guests loved all of the different flavors we had (chocolate, vanilla, mocha and pink champagne).

My husband and I chose Andrea at corner space cakes to design our dream rustic wedding cake. A week before our wedding our venue and all of the lodging for our family was burned to the ground in the San Andreas fires. I really wanted to keep Corner Space as our cake place, but unfortunately we had to relocate the wedding last minute and it was too far to deliver. Despite the short notice, Andrea was compassionate and gave us a full refund so that we were able to buy cupcakes last minute for the wedding day. She’ll never know what a relief it was to us during that week when we were scrambling to redo all of the wedding planning we had done over 9 months in just 2 days. I’d recommend her cakes to anyone for a wedding in the area for sure. Top notch work that looks amazing and also tastes amazing.

Andrea made a cake for my 30^th birthday in 2013, we had an 80s theme party, the cake was so cute and amazing in all regards. She was super easy to consult with, very accommodating and able to make me a wonderful cake within my budget. We ordered a pink champagne cake with cream cheese frosting and it was hands down the best cake I have ever had! The design was spot on as we discussed, I received so many compliments on the taste and design of the cake. I don’t live in the area, but I will definitely be calling Andrea next time I need a cake. I highly recommend Andrea and this bakery, you will not be disappointed!

Andrea made our tasting very comfortable and offered us more ideas then we had planned! She had flavors set up for us (more then we asked for) and that was greatly appreciated! She is so talented and offered so many more ideas to my original plan! My cake is going to be beautiful and I have very high hopes in her talents! She worked with us and found us the best thing we can do for our budget while keeping our dream Cake the way we want it! Thank you so much Andrea!

Andrea was awesome to work with. She saw my vision and transformed a beautiful masterpiece wrapped in buttercream icing and fondant! My husband is a Denver broncos fan and she made him the cutest bronco grooms cake along with matching bronco helmet cookies… And of coarse she made matching 49ers ones too, for me!!! And most importantly… It was all delicious and moist! I would defiantly recommend her!!!

As a caterer, I work with Andrea on a regular basis. Her cakes are always moist, beautiful, and delicious. But more than that, she is an absolute delight to work with, and gives 300% and a smile. I look forward to seeing her at our shared events! Clients tell me how lovely she is during meetings, and consultations. I highly recommend her services AND her baking!

Andrea from Corner Space Cakes is pure magic. From the second we did a tasting with her at Union Hill Inn, we knew we would book her for our December wedding. Not only were her cake and flavor options incredible, but Andrea is just a joy to be around. I sent her a few pictures and basic descriptions of the look we were going for (simple, rustic, potentially with some gold flare) and the finished outcome was perfection. We had sour cream cake with an oreo cookie filling, as well as a spice cake with caramel filling. I keep hearing from our guests how much they loved the cake and how it was the «first wedding cake we’ve actually eaten»!
The night before our wedding, it snowed 7 inches in Sonora. We woke up to a winter wonderland, but without power. We later heard from our wedding coordinators that Andrea not only dropped the cake off, but proceeded to stick around for a few hours to help everyone set up in the dark. Fortunately, the power came on just in time for our reception (after a romantic candlelit ceremony) but it certainly was a crazy day for all of our vendors.

I love this place! I ordered my cake and cupcakes for my wedding in May and I have to say I was worried not knowing what my cake was gonna look like with the vague descriptions I gave her but it was amazing!!! It was perfect for my wedding and everyone raved about how pretty and tasty the cupcakes where. The Oreo cake that she made my cake with was to die for!
