Bon Appetit-Crepes, Croissants & More

I really like the crepes here, I get the French BLT. The owner is nice and the food is made fresh to order. The crêpe station isn’t very clean, which is a bummer. Sadly, on my last visit, the cook scratched her hair while cutting tomatoes for my crêpe, but didn’t stop to wash her hands or the knife. She just went back to fixing my food.

The French pastries are spectacular, and you can easily fill up a bag with croissants (the real thing, from hand-​made puff pastry) and a variety of sweet pastries such as turnovers and Bruno’s own «Brunut» made from croissants in the shape of a dount with maple glaze. Bruno’s baguette is better than any I used to buy in the Bay Area (we recently moved here from San Mateo). Large variety of crepes, made by Sally, are meals in themselves. The ham on the ham-​and-​cheese croissant sandwich is imported from France and is unlike anything you get here. It’s a very informal place in the Junction shopping center around October through May, when they pack up the crepes cart and move to the Sonora Farmers Market in downtown Sonora on Saturday mornings the other half of the year.

My most favorite restaurant in town, hands down. I plan to at least eat here twice a week or more, Sally makes the best crepes and her and Bruno really give you the feeling that you are in Paris, friendly atmosphere, great place to take the kids, their employee Brennan is so helpful and nice! Love love love love Bön Appetite’!!!

This morning was my first time coming here. In the junction location. And I am very upset I have never been here before! Absolutely incredible! Very fresh croissants and pastries. And they are so so delicious! The BRONUT is the best thing I have ever tasted. The owners Bruno and Sally are extremely polite and very welcoming. I had the banana Nutella crêpe and it was so amazing. This place is authentic, simple and delicious! Gotta check it out and try for yourself!
