Auberge Sonoma

We had a fantastic time in Suite 151. I don’t have a lot to add to other reviews regarding the unit other than to say the bed and the linens were so comfortable. The finishes are all very nice indeed. Love the front porch as alternative place to relax.
The location is superb. Its so close to all the shops and restaurants, yet still somehow quiet and secluded. Just across the street is a lovely bookshop that you can enjoy for hours. Fabulous restaurants just doors away.
Once or twice we heard footsteps upstairs but it never bothered us. I thought that the front unit could be noisy as it faces the road, but that wasn’t true at all. The bedrooms are all on the back and it was quiet and relaxing.
Highly recommended!

Stayed in Suite 151 this past weekend for three nights and we were very pleased. The location couldn’t be beat. Extremely close to the plaza yet quiet. The suite was exceptionally clean.
Both of the above were our reasons for selecting it and we were not disappointed. We brought a 92 year old along and she was able to walk to the plaza since it was so close. And Byron was very helpful when I emailed a number of questions ahead of time.
The only things that I could think of to improve it were ottomans upon which to put my feet after wandering about and rubber shower mats to feel more secure in the wonderful showers.
As an aside, try not to miss Ram’s Gate, Artesa and Girl and the Fig!

Stayed here last spring, when it was brand spankin’ new… we were the first guests of The Front Suite, Auberge Sonoma 151. We only stayed for a few days, but I wanted to stay a lifetime. We didn’t use nearly as many of the amenities that were available, we had all the comforts of home, and then some.
There are three units in the home, the one on the top floor is for extended stays of 30 days or more. Each unit has two bedrooms and two FULL baths! Did I mention yet that everything was brand new and SO clean!!!
Only a half block away from Sonoma square, it was the absolute perfect location for shopping, dining, and more. We were here during the Sonoma Film Festival, so we caught a glimpse Hollywood in Northern California.
The property itself is inconspicuous, there is no signage that would scream, TOURISTS ARE HERE! You just find the address, use the security code given to you upon reservation to get in the door and you’re in!
Can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here over the holiday break with my parents and our little one. The unit was in a fantastic location, walking to downtown shops including a great bakery and cheese shop. The kitchen was top notch and the unit was clean/​comfortable. The owners were very enjoyable to deal with in the booking and make it super easy to get into your unit. This was perfect for our stay.
