We visited this Rite Aid yesterday as we were in the area. Although it has undergo renovations to be in line with the modern look of other sites, this particular store was small and lacked the items we were looking for. Also, I’m not sure if it’s a neighborhood thing but items here were locked down more tightly than any other Rite Aid locations I’ve visited, even compared to the ones in Brooklyn NY.

I had to go back late Sunday night and I took my son Andrew this time. He is a pain in my side &always questioning me about stocks & my personal financial choices. Since he had not been to this Rite Aid(we always went to Walgreena next door) he went kicking and screaming. I brought signifcant amount of stock in Rite Aid(RAD ticker symbol) but it was so long ago they were almost bankrupt & it was dirt cheap. He is a dual major in business& economics and thinks like a calculator. Never factors in that human component. He was so impressed with the way they remodeled the store. I pointed out the aisles were wide enough to accommodate all wheelchair accessible needs. It’s obvious that this company is going long. They are clearly nipping at the heels of Walgreens, CVS, etc. Parking is great too. I love this store.

Ugh, just go to the CVS down the street. I don’t have a problem with the pricing, because drug store prices are pretty much universal. I used to go to this Rite Aid and every time I left I was in a worse mood than when I came in. I don’t know if it has to do with half the lights being broken, the contents previously on the shelves just scattered on the floor, or the staff; but I try to avoid this place as much as possible. Seriously, the people who work at this Rite Aid are more miserable than people who work at the Post Office or the DMV… and that’s saying A LOT.

Usually I only write reviews for restaurants, here is an exception. I like this Rite Aid since they offer quicker prescriptions pickup than Walgreen and every thing else is cheaper than Walgreen. I went there yesterday to buy some mints and I was shocked. I saw a big sign in front of their door says«Get H1N1». Should I go in and get H1Ni infected? After I walked bit closer, I saw a small line under«H1N1» says«Vaccines». I was finally glad to feel safe to walk into this Rite Aid store again.
