Richard Caron Hair Design

I first saw Richard to sculpt my voluminous, long, untamed mane into a Farrah Fawcett inspired look. Richard did an amazing job updating the style and working to flatter my face shape. The cut was a big hit and grew out well.
The next time I went to Richard, it was for my first pixie cut. I had done some hair modeling for upscale, trendy salons but I felt I could trust Richard more for such a bold change. Not only did he listen to my suggestions and concerns, but we had fun and I left feeling delighted about my daring decision. It was the perfect balance between retro femininity and modern playfulness. It’s a plus to have your hairdresser just as enthusiastic as you are, and to make you feel comfortable with your decision — be it a drastic or subtle update.
Whatever I do next with my hair, Richard is the only stylist I will go to. I always leave his salon feeling 100% confident in the cut.

Richard is a great stylist. I have curly/​wavy hair that often gets frizzy. Richard helped me think of a slightly new style and shaped my hair in a fun, cute way. He gave me layers which give my hair a nice shape and make it a lot more fun to style than it was before. 3 weeks later I love how my hair is growing out and it still feels healthy. I very much recommend Richard! I will be going back :)

Needed a haircut in a pinch, so I read Richard’s reviews here — fortunately he was able to fit me in on late notice. Richard is great for conversation, his prices are reasonable for the area, and gives an awesome haircut as well! Be sure to check this place out!

I had gone to see Richard for a blow out. The place is in the basement. Unkept, Outdated, dust everywhere, (Does not belong on Newbury St) The worst part, when he used the gown, it had strands of white hair all over it. Clearly, he re-​used the same gown which was disgusting not to mention non-​hygenic. His hands and brush got entangled in my hair all the time. It was painful. I gave him a 2 star because my hair looked good at the end but the experience was miserable. I would not go there again.

Richard is a wonderful professional hair designer. I trust his style and taste 100% and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere in his shop is extremely relaxing and friendly.

Richard has been cutting my hair for the last 4 to 5 years and every single time he does an awesome job. I like my hair shortish but stylish and he hasn’t missed the mark once.
On top of that I always enjoy a visit to Richard; he’s a great guy which makes it a very relaxing experience and fun at the same time.
