I came here for my work in Boston and stayed in this area. I decided to hangout at this local bar for my last night and I really enjoyed it! Simple and low key. People are so nice sweet. I loved my absolute soda was $ 4.50!!!

One of the cheapest bars in Somerville. $ 3 for domestics and $ 4 for Allagash and some better brews. Tax included in the price and Cash only(atm inside). The average price of a shot is $ 5. Bar has seating for 10, another 20 or so chairs spread out around the place. They have darts, a Touchtunes jukesbox, Keno, and 1TV for Sports. If you can get over the regulars(mostly 40+ yo) décor of painted wood paneling, then it’s the perfecr place ro buy a round on your way to Charlestown, Assembly Row or Union Square.

Classic dive bar. No frills. Sometimes they have a craft beer or two. You can play keno, watch sports, and order in food. If you feel really active, there is a pool table, and dart board. The juke box great. Cash only. Deal with it. Anyone going into this bar expecting something spectacular is an idiot.

I’ve lived in Somerville for 15 years and always wanted to pop in to see what was up with this place. First off, this is a real dive bar not a «hipster dive.» Michael’s makes Sligo look like the Ritz. There were less than 10 people in the place and they were all messed up. The bartender was drinking bud heavies, a couple guys wearing sweatpants that I wouldn’t wear to grab the morning paper from the end of the driveway and a sole woman that looked like she’d been there since they opened and I don’t mean when they opened that day. Things went downhill when past out guy from the end of the bar woke up and angrily made his way down to introduce himself with, «who are you? where are you from? what do you do?» Needless to say we settled up quickly and left.

I usually like bars in the old neighborhood but this place is just sad. Still only takes cash. No debit or credit cards. Ladies bathroom is a disaster. No Heineken Light. And the regulars there make it difficult to feel comfortable. I liked it when it was Parisi’s aka Tin Roof.
