Katili’s Chocolate

Delicious milk chocolate & white chocolate! The milk especially! I am not a fan of dark so didn’t try it. The reason I knocked a star off is because I didn’t feel the selection was sufficient enough — specifically there was no plain milk chocolate except a few cutouts of crosses and something else for nurses day I think it was.

OMG! I wanted my guests to have a little something to take home from my birthday party and decided on chocolate. (What else?!)
I like to support small, local business, so we went shopping in Somerville.
We walked by another chocolate store in Somerville but it just didn’t give me a warm-​and-​fuzzy feeling. However, I had seen Katili’s on Main Street, which has such nicely decorated windows. It looked very inviting, so we decided to take a look.
Chocolate heaven! There were so many things to chose from!
Karen greeted us and showed us various items that we could use as favors. She was friendly, patient, and helpful.
Karen recommended we get dark chocolate covered Peeps, 2 per bag (it was Easter). Sometimes dark chocolate can be bitter, so I suggested we get a mix of dark and milk chocolate. I have to think about my granddaughter! Would she like the dark chocolate?
Well, Karen gave us a sample of the dark chocolate and it was so good! We went with all dark chocolate-​dipped Peeps.
Now, some people aren’t really fond of Peeps. To those folks, I said — eat the chocolate and microwave the Peeps. But let me tell you, that dark chocolate was excellent with the Peeps. The dark chocolate made the Peeps taste less sweet. They were perfect!
I had a great experience with Katili’s Chocolate. I highly recommend them for all your chocolate needs! And yes, we DO sometimes NEED chocolate!

This place is so good. Too good! Great selection, very friendly staff and everything is delicious (and reasonably priced). Wish they were open later and on Sundays but ah well.

Great hand rolled gourmet chocolates in downtown Somerville. Perfect for gifts or just treating yourself. I LOVE the homemade fudge too.

Great Fudge! It’s smooth and creamy. I had the plain chocolate to start and will be returning to get try all the different varieties. Yumm! Good addition to Main St.
