Gulf Gas Station

great place to get your car service done. owner of the place is super nice and helpfull. my car had a huge problem and the owner accomodate me fast and the price is pretty reasonable compare to most places i have been.

Ok, I am not schitzo but, after the last few visits I have to update… and one walk by… I’ll just describe my walk by… I have a pup and was walking by the gas station with my dog on leash. My dog stopped to sniff the ground and the guy who gives my dog treats came out of the booth and started screaming and swearing at me — I said hello and that it was me and Chelsea and that she was just smelling the ground as I waved my already full dog bag — He continued to yell. WOW. I can understand being pissed off at the idiotic dog owners who let their dogs do business and don’t clean up but — geez, I had been a customer for a very long time and he was ballistic and not listening. So anyway, I went back a couple of times and each time tried to say hello and explain that it was us walking by and I asked why he yelled — He basically blew us off and once I ended up driving off. Wild.
Maybe he has PTSD from other dog owners — Anyway, I’m now getting my gas at the Hess down the way.

Great little gas station. I agree with C.M.M you really can’t beat the friendliness or sense of community. I make a point of filling up and getting my inspections there. Price wise I think it’s on the low end for the area. I work in Woburn and live in Cambridge and visit Medford frequently and I on my route it’s one of the cheapest stations. I’m not sure where Jeanne C. is comparing it to. And keep in mind Fred the owner is extremely trustworthy and knows the town. Great person to get advice from on car repairs. I had a an accident there and he was amazingly true to his word!

This is a mjor gas station within Somerville. It provides all the basics, inspections, tune-​up, oil change etc. and all with a small town attitude. You’ll feel welcome here.
It is one of those unique clean and friendly servie stations. Service with a smile. And the bathroom was even clean!
