Fiesta Bakery & Restaurant

Disappointing. We bought a cake for my mother-​in-​laws 80^th birthday party only to cut into the cake and find it was not cooked thoroughly. We took back ¾ of the cake looking for a refund which we were told we could not get and was offered another cake for another event!!! Like we really trust that. We were also offered $ 5 off of other items… So let me get this right, our celebration was ruined and they offered to ruin another celebration? When we went to pick up the cake for the next event (as offered by them) the guy who was at the bakery said there was no cake available!!! When he saw how angry my husband got, he miraculously found one (so I guess someone else will go and not have a cake). Help me Lord. Never again. If I could give 0 stars I would. I understand mistakes happen but I don’t understand a business not taking care of their customers in a way that makes sense for the customers. If you have a special occasion and need a cake, please look elsewhere. Like the previous reviewer said, stingy…

I just swung by for lunch and picked up 4 patties for $ 5. That’s right, they have patties (beef, chicken, fish) and they are $ 1.25 each.
The buggers aren’t too big (a tall bar of soap-​ish) but devastatingly fulfilling despite their stinginess with the filling. This is probably due to their ultra-​flaky, buttery crusts. Under any other circumstances, I would complain about the filling-​to-​crust ratio, but these crusts are SO DAMN GOOD I’m not even mad!
In short, I have a huge appetite and I was pretty hungry when I went in, and I still have two patties left in my bag. That means you can get a totally great lunch for $ 2.50.
This place also has drinks and, apparently, a full lunch/​dinner menu that features curry goat, rice and beans, and other Haitian staples for around $ 10. They don’t have a sitting area, but the man behind the counter said there would be renovations in the near future to fix that. I’ll definitely be back to try the curry goat!
