Creative Cuts

My friend & I had a last minute engagement, she needed color & cut, I just needed a trim & blow out. Dora was wonderful, great color, cut, trim, & blowout! She had no one in the shop, took us right away!

I get my haircut here about twice a year. i never know how to describe my cut, so i reference a picture of a haircut in a book that is there. I’m always happy with my cut. Gotta go back this week, actually. New season = new cut.

At first this review was not filtered, then it was filtered, then not filtered again! Unilocal seriously seems no more real or legit than any other self proclaiming site on the intenet! The 18 filtered reviews below are some of my friends and relatives who I am referring to in my own review. So what is the deal Unilocal? There is no violation of your «Policy or Terms of use», so what is the problem?
That being said, I would like to take the time to review this hair salon myself. It is a quaint little shop on the upper end of Broadway. The staff are very friendly and know how to cut hair, point blank. I was directed to this shop by a family member and am glad I was. I have also recommended it to other family members and a variety of friends, who have now been visiting this location for awhile now. This includes Firemen, Policemen, Politicians, Garbage men, you name it. I send them all to Sheri and have had no complaints from any of them. Sheri has been cutting hair for a long time and is quite good at it. I trust my own kids hair to nobody else and would not recommend it to any of my family or friends if that was not the case. If you read any of my other reviews, you’ll see I pull no punches. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I stand by whatever I say, good or bad!
*Update* January? 2012 — Sheri left to become a Manager somewhere else, so I’ll be taking my kids there instead.

Very nice place, I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and professional they were. I agree with previous comments about sherry, she did a great job.

Now, I’ll be honest. I’m absolutely terrible at getting haircuts. I generally have no idea what I want my hair to look like, let alone how to describe it to a barber.
This time, though, I figured I was set. Rather than try to describe anything, I just brought a picture in. To make it extra-​easy, I made sure it was a picture of me from a few years ago, when I had a haircut I was reasonably fond of. I figured I’d just go in, say «please make my hair looks like this», and that would be that.
If only.
My hair ended up between an inch and an inch-​and-​a-​half shorter than intended, which is a problem when you only plan on having two-​ish inches of hair. While I applaud the people at Creative Cuts for ensuring that, unlike some past haircut experiences, I didn’t feel my poor direction was at all responsible for the terrible results, I certainly won’t be going back.
