A very unsuspecting, yet really good diner located in a quiet mini mall. I expected it to be nothing more than some breakfast in the belly, but was pleasantly surprised. My standard 2 eggs over easy with turkey bacon/sausage wasn’t the standard. They have turkey bacon, and it was really good. Although I don’t typically like peppers in my hash browns, theirs is really tasty. Most importantly, the serving staff is great! They’re pleasant, sociable and prompt and courteous with their service. I’d come back, definitely

Over the years this place has gone downhill. Dirty, sticky surfaces, dust, rust, etc. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like! I was trying to stay loyal but two weeks ago was my final visit. I found something in my food and, while they did apologize, they didn’t even offer us any kind of make-good… It’s sad, there aren’t many good diners in this immediate area.

Delish grilled chicken salad and pancakes, and no, I did not eat them on the same day at the same time. This is a neighborhood establishment that opens for breakfast and lunch. Located in a strip mall. Family operated.

I would have to come back and dine again trying something different on the menu. The turkey bacon was awful. I can suggest some other, better flavored and textured brands, but they should immediately remove this item until they are committed to making it taste better. I ordered a cheese omelette with peppers and onions. It did the job, but could have been seasoned better. The server behind the counter was attentive, very nice. Nothing extraordinary to report.

Veronica Plaza Diner/Restaurant(not sure why it needs both identifiers), is right on Rt. 27 South, about a half mile past Van Dyke Avenue. I needed a place for breakfast while I waited for a court conference to start, and this was about the closest kitchen open in the morning. It is part of a strip mall(Veronica Plaza), and does not look to be a diner externally. Internally, it has a counter to the left, and a bunch of tables on the right. It operated like a diner despite its appearance. There are several women working the floor. The menu is large and there are daily blackboard specials. I ordered a short stack of French Toast as I settled onto a spinner. Coffee arrived promptly after a pour from a stainless Curtis perker. It was okay coffee, in that it was hot and not bitter, but it lacked distinctive taste. Better beans would allow the Curtis to show its merit. The French Toast was also just adequate, as it was fully grilled, but lacked the cauterized edges that the best cooks are able to brand the egged bread with. The use of packaged Heinz Syrup lets you know that the house doesn’t hold itself in high regard. There are a few hygienic issues in how staff handles food. Not gross enough to warrant a walk out, but again distinctive of management that doesn’t really pay as much attention as it should. Given its convenience to one of my regular venues, I will no doubt return to Veronica from time to time. Would that it upped its professionalism and sharpened its focus to make my time there more enjoyable.

Awful. I came here for lunch with my mom as she had a doctor appointment nearby. She had been here before and actually liked the place. I ordered a bowl of the chicken soup and the«Bacon Blue Cheese BLT Burger». The menu describes their burgers as being«100% fresh ground Angus beef»…more on that later. Waitress doesn’t ask me how I wanted my burger cooked like she asked my mom 30 seconds earlier. Out comes the soup. It’s a cup, not a bowl like I had ordered. And its lukewarm. Not a good start. Lots of vegetables, not bad, but it looks like canned chicken. My «Bacon Blue Cheese BLT Burger» comes out. No bacon anywhere to be found. And the blue cheese looked to be about a month past date, as it had a grayish color to it. I shoved that off to the side and let the waitress know. She offered up some different cheese but I declined. She said she’d be back with the bacon. Now the waitress never asked me how I wanted it cooked in the first place but this thing was nearing hockey puck status. And remember that blurb in the menu about fresh ground Angus beef? There’s no way in hell that this thing was fresh ground. I’ve worked in restaurants for years and there’s a textural difference between a fresh ground patty and a preformed frozen burger. This one was definitely out of a freezer. Oh one other thing happened that kind of bothered me: there was a single man at the table next to us. He got up to use the restroom and while he’s in there, with his jacket still on the chair, the busboy comes over and starts to clear the table. HEWASNTDONEYET. Thankfully he was behind the busboy and stopped him before he could grab everything. Anyways, I ate about half of my burger, paid up and left. I will not be back. Take this as a warning, I’m sure there’s plenty of other places in the area with better quality food.

Lately the place has been dirty. The food takes too long to come out and is frequently overcooked.

I went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I was there early so I sat at the breakfast bar. The food and service were good. I would have rated it more stars if it wasn’t for the pricing. The menu is a little pricey for breakfast, but not bad. I am a low carb eater who always orders a side of meat and a side of eggs. Since I don’t eat bread or potato, I order as sides which usually saves a dollar or two. Some places charge me full price for the meal including the sides I don’t order. This place did that. Don’t get me wrong, I’d eat here again.

This is the best kept little secret diners! The food and service is excellent! You won’t go home hungry and will be planning your next visit while eating there. The California chicken club wrap is the best! I bring all my clients there after we close on a home when in this area!

Stopped in for coffee and a bacon and egg sandwich. Can’t complain at all. Since it is in a strip mall, it does not have the traditional diner look, but inside it is the usual. Traditional extensive menu. Service was acceptable but could have been a bit more friendly.

Good food, good staff, and great prices. It’s a throwback to the nostalgic greasy spoon joints of yesteryear. They serve only breakfast and lunch there but food is yummy.
