Stop & Shop Supermarket

They have a flower shop that comes in handy for special occasions. Hard to come by in a pinch.
They offer a good selection of lunch sandwiches and snacks when you first come in and there is also a decent selection of healthier options right in the first aisle from the entrance.
Plus they also have a pharmacy in the back area and the self-​checkout counters are abundant.

I call this «My Stop and Shop». Very Clean, very friendly staff. I pretty much memorized where everything is already. I love their Friday $ 5 Chicken Rotisserie for a quick alternative dinner option. The cakes and pastries are great considering there are no good bakeshop in the area. We love their apple turnover and fresh breads. They have good sale and the stop and shop card offers you extra discount. I also love that they have live lobsters that they’ll steam for you while you walk around and finish your shopping.

If I can’t have Wegman’s nearby, Stop & Shop is a terrific alternative. This is one of their newer stores, and it’s bright, clean, and stocked with most everything you could want.
Their prices are usually higher than ShopRite, especially in the produce and Deli departments, but that’s because in the Deli they carry Boar’s Head cold cuts. They have a great selection of prepared foods, and their rotisserie chicken is absolutely the best, always moist and not oversalted, the way they are at all the other stores, including Costco.
Last year I ordered their prepared Thanksgiving dinner, and it was outstanding.
If I were comparing Stop & Shop to any supermarket in Las Vegas (my more frequent haunt), I’d be giving it 10 stars!
