Best breakfast in town! If I’m going for breakfast anywhere, its’ ALWAYS here.

This is, hands down, my favorite towny eatery. I eat here at least once a week. Whether I am there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (only available a few nights per week) I am never disappointed. This place serves up a winning combination of great homemade food, fast friendly service, and fair prices. We seldom miss a weekend breakfast here. But, be warned that you may wait a bit for a table on the weekend since this restaurant is no longer a secret among locals. You will see families, couples young and old, and some seemingly ever present faces occupying counter seats. Customers are friendly too, as people have actually moved at the counter so that I was able to sit with friends on a recent busy day. Some of my favorite breakfast choices are the scramblers, which feature fluffy scrambled eggs mixed with your choice of items, then topped with hollandaise sauce (smoke it if you’ve got it) and served with toast, homefries, etc. Usually I opt for the Irish scrambler, which comes with scrambled eggs mixed with corned beef hash, and topped with the aforementioned hollandaise. You just can’t go wrong. Another favorite is the Portuguese omelette, filled with chourico, peppers, onions and cheese. Perfeita! If i come for one of their few dinner nights, i usually try a special. True, they have a full dinner menu which includes great seafood offerings, but there is usually something scrawled on the blackboard that catches my eye instead. And to top this all off, they serve the cheapest stella artois in town.

Used to go here and food was great and people are nice… can’t go here anymore though because the owners support evil agendas. They couldn’t possibly shove in any more tables because as it is you are virtually sitting on top of your neighboring diners, the food has gone downhill and we will probably never set foot in the place again.

Been here at least two dozen times. The best local/​neighborhood/​family restaurant in the Greater Fall River area, period. It’s no wonder why they’re always busy. Extensive menu, great specials, attentive & fast service (great when we have the kids with us), very good prices. This place would make a good candidate for the Diners, Drive-​ins, and Dives TV show.
Faves: seafood chowder, clam chowder, fish & chips, buffalo chicken salad, fresh oven roasted turkey (sandwich or dinner), fried oysters, burgers, hand cut onion rings.
Keep up the strong work.

Had lunch today with my wife. She had fish sandwich with 2 pcs of fresh fish on a great bun and fries. I had a lobster roll with sweet pot fries. The lobster was probably the best one I’ve had anywhere. My wife’s fish was excellent and crisp and not all batter. Great staff and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to the Somerset Grille for the first time last night. As it was just me, I sat at the counter.
Kim waited on me. She was really nice, personable, and attentive. I noticed all the employees had great customer service skills. The food was good and was ready really fast. They have a large lunch/​dinner menu with several specials. The prices were reasonable.

We recently started coming here and it is great! The eggs benedict are delicious!

Some of the freshest and tastiest seafood in the area. Friendly waitstaff and a handy location.

Been here many times for breakfast. It’s always very good. They always have a flavored coffee so make sure you ask. The prices are very reasonable and the food is always very good and consistent. I’ve only ate breakfast here so I can’t speak for the lunches or dinners but I would give it a try. Staff is great and everything is quick. Never had a bad experience in 10+ times here.
It would be great to see more breakfast specials or something different every once and a while, but that’s my only complaint haha

Today is my first time dining here. The staff is super friendly and we did not have to wait too long to get our party of 7 sat. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. We had some mix ups where the wrong meat was on the wrong plate and some eggs got switched around but we fixed the problem ourselves and enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is chatty and there’s a tv on. For a Monday morning (late morning) the place is pretty busy (maybe because it’s still summer). Parking is super plentiful. The food isn’t five star but it’s good. The people I am dining with said this is the first time they have had any mix ups with the food. I’ll probably be back next time I’m in town.

This was my first time here. The parking is great, the location is good, a little out of the congestion area. We were greeted immediately upon arrival. We arrived at 11 a.m. and was pleased to find out we could still order breakfast. As soon as were seated the waitress (Darlene) asked if we wanted coffee. The service was friendly and fast. The food was good. I had two eggs, toast, home fries (which needed salt or seasoning, but n0t bad) and linguica. My boyfriend had the chili omelet, which he loved. The place was clean and people were friendly. I would try this for supper and/​or dessert sometime. Definitely worth a try!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Both the food and the service was great. The hostess was impressive. She was seating, clearing tables, and doing as much as she could to make things go a little quicker for a busy holiday breakfast.
Part 2 revisit 6÷03÷13− Stopped in again for breakfast. Had the Irish Omelet and a corn muffin. Both items were great and the service was good and fast. Highly recommend!

Great breakfast! Get the eggs Benedict over hash with holandaise!

I would rate this place as average to slightly above average in terms of diner food. I ordered the stuff french toasted with fresh strawberries and cream cheese. There was barely any cream cheese and the «fresh» strawberries” were covered in syrup and mushy, so they were obviously out of a can. Other than that, the french toast was good, but nothing special and the pancakes my wife got were average.

AWESOME!!! Cheesy Hash & eggs are to die for!!! Great food for a great price!!!

Great breakfast. Have not been for dinner yet but looking forward to. A rising star in Somerset. I know from a reliable source that the kitchen is spotless.

Delicious breakfast for our big group this morning. Terrific service. Friendly, clean place. Really good coffee.
