Excellent place. Great lunch sandwiches and a great guy behind the counter. Highly recommended

Arrived at 11am — no customer service — they were rude said grill was off & they couldn’t do breakfast … As they were cooking using grill. Said we could have bagels or cold cuts Considering the parking lot was empty and there wereno customers inside they should re-evaluate how they do treat the customers the have. Would it recommend to anyone … Unless you want a cold bagel sandwich with cold cuts

I’ve ate breakfast there twice this week and it was great both times. I’m going back in the morning as well. They are not the fastest but if you want your order in under a min, go to Mickey Ds and make the line shorter for me.

I go there to avoid the line at my favorite spot then realize AGAIN why there is no line. The guy has NO personality and my price for the same thing changes each time. The bagels are fair but the experience each time leaves me reflecting as I walk out. «Why did I come here?» & «I should have left for work earlier so I could wait in the crazy line at Kettleman’s» I wish this area could have it all in one spot. Great Bagel Good customer service Fair prices Great coffee at the bagel spot … Why am I going to two places all of the time because I can’t get what I need in one location. We deserve it!

Every so often I stop on my way to work when I don’t feel like waiting at the light to make the left to my usual bagel spot. Afterwards, I remember why I don’t do this very often. Coffee has this weird chemical taste, and the bagels are doughy and bland. The poppy seed I just ordered had a total of approximately 25 seeds on it. Really, what’s the point? It’s not just me either. My usual place has 4 – 5 people scurrying about at 6AM and the place feels ALIVE; this place has one guy and it feels wiped out as if they’re getting ready to close. In fairness, there’s more of a deli vibe here, so I just might be going to the clam shack for a slice of pizza, if you know what I mean.

I have a student at Rutgers and this is our go to breakfast place when in town. While the NJ bagels are doughier than Chicago bagels I really like these and they challenge what we get in Chicago and beat all the bagel places I’ve tasted in the area. The bagels come in a bunch of varieties and are big and fluffy. I love a toasted bagel with cream cheese but the family likes the sandwiches with meats and eggs. I’ve never tried it for lunch so I’m not sure how those sandwiches look or the portions but they do have a variety of cream cheese and lox. It’s family run and the son is usually there in the morning and mom is there in the afternoon. They are nice as can be. Give it a try!!!

Worst sandwich I’ve ever had. I ordered a boiled ham and cheese on a sub roll with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar. There were 2 slices of ham on the sub and one slice of cheese. It was heated up which I did not ask for and there was no oil and vinegar, dry as a bone. Extremely disappointing, and I paid $ 7.00 for this. I sent feedback on their website yesterday and have not received a response.

We stopped for lunch. The bagel was average, the Tina Turner roast beef was ok but did not jump out. Minestrone soup was generously portioned but so so flavor and was reheated in microwave. Bathroom was in need of cleaning, no soap or paper towels. Seating limited to 3 small booths, good luck eating in.

Originally from this area, i have moved South. And boy do I miss a good bagel. This is the third one this week and it is most definitely the best. The bagel itself is over 2 fluffy inches tall and about 6 inches in diameter. I got mine with Lox & cream cheese. The Lox is perfectly tender and flavorful. This is really one of the best I’ve ever had.

Love this place with the new owners. Personable and timely customer service. Food tastes fresh like I made it at home. Sandwiches are the best part of the menu. Roy will often remember ur orders from the week before lol.

New Owners! Grand opening started last weekish so I think this place deserves a clean slate of reviews. The employees that are always there are very very friendly and always accommodating. They have more options and goodies on display in the glass counter every time I go. They have all your necessary items for lunch and breakfast and prepare every order with care. The bagels are pretty good and have recently added a selection of special spreads.

You’d be better off with a frozen bagel. Not to mention I was the only person in the place… The drink refrigerator was empty, so was the deil case. I should have walked out before I ordered my food. Never going back

I really like this place, but let me tell you about today’s experience. I walk in at 12:30PM today, 01÷04÷13. The(1) guy behind the counter today is on his cell. He looks at me. I walk to the counter. He turns around and disappears into the back room. I wait 5 minutes for him to come back. I cough(LOUDLY) several times. I write a note on his order pad«Take your calls on your own time.». Seriously, just tell me you have an important phone call, and give me the option of staying or going. Super rude. I go to the Chinese takeout place in the same mall. I get takeout, and walk by the place again. Still no one behind the counter 10 minutes later. I’ve been here about 10 times before. Decent sandwiches(particularly the Chicken Cheese«Steak») and Buffalo Chicken sandwich, but after today’s rude adventure, I’m NEVERGOINGBACK.
