Great wine and great hospitality. The prohibition red was our favorite! They also have local beer cheeses to purchase that were delicious. I would highly recommend stopping here!

Nice little stop. It’s right miles north of ky80 on ky461. There are signs at turn but I drive right by it. There is a farm stand advertising peaches turn there!
Small store with about a dozen varieties of wine. Free samples here, week at least the first five were. Light sweet wines here. Very friendly lady running place
The site had some variety of other items from geodes to mc Donald collector glasses. They have local cheese and have samples to, if you ask. A nice little stop. Wine was $ 10 – 18 a bottle.

I would consider this more of a tasting room and not a winery. They may have a vineyard but I didn’t see it from here.
The other patrons ranted and raved about how much they loved this place. Honestly, I don’t think they got out much.
The lady, who I believe was the owner was very nice and allowed me to try several different wines before I bought one. I can’t remember the name now… sorry.
The odd thing was the bathroom. When I asked if I could use the bathroom she counted how many times that it had been used that day and informed me that I was safe to use it because it hadn’t met it’s daily maximum flushes… TMI, I know because that was what I was thinking.

A few miles off the highway near Somerset Kentucky stands another of the regions up and coming wineries. You can’t miss this one with iconic grapes on a painted roof top sign marking the Sinking Valley Winery.
This shop had super cute wine labels and was clearly another homegrown business success story. Selling knick-​knacks and Amish wares this winery had a number of things to look at between tastings. Try the Prohibition Repeal Red and chat up the shopkeep.
