If you need an item framed, then this is where you need to be. Riverside Art has been framing for years now and will think of all the little details that you won’t. Sure, they are much more expensive than your local craft store, but your item will be framed to showcase it best and protect your item, which isn’t the case at some of the discount places. I’ve brought many things here over the years and have been thoroughly satisfied with each one. Until a recent visit I had forgotten what an extensive gift selection they have. It seems to have been expanded and I really wish I had thought of it over the holidays. I could have taken care of a good portion of my Christmas shopping. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and always willing to offer suggestions. While I don’t frequent this part of the store often, they do have an extensive selection of art supplies. It’s well worth a visit next time you are driving down route 6.

Excellent service! I was looking for old colored vinyl in red and green and when the owner looked where they were supposed to be he was unable to find the free sheet a day even though the last time they sold a sheet was 5 years ago he asked me to wait aminute a day took it uupon himself to go upstairs in the warehouse and found the one last sheet he had all for a $ 6 purchase. The store has a world of of supplies for every art project you have and I recommend this store to a year looking for any art, craft supply you need!

I know this isn’t like the normal art store review but I wanted to mention how amazing they were. The knowledge from the staff in this store blows me away. An emergency left me in the ER with doctors and nurses asking me whether a small piece of dried yellowish paint was acrylic or oil, artist or other– I had no idea. The only thing I could think to do was hurry to an art store and ask if they knew. My first stop was Michael’s and the glazed over distant look in the employees eyes told me that I was wasting my time there. My brother-in-law shops at Riverside Art so I thought«what the Hell…» After just a few minutes of crumbling, smelling, and diluting they were able, with 100% confidence, to tell me exactly what kind of paint it was. Because of the strange color they were even able to give me a specific brand. Not too bad when all I brought them was a piece of dried paint and a whole lot of anxiety. They took a genuine interest in my problem and did the best they could to help me– for that I am very appreciative and have been recommending them to everyone who asks me about art or framing.
