Great staff, good food. They were extremely accommodating of our large group of 38 swim team members on short notice. Had 14 pizzas and large tray of wings with beverages. Highly recommend the wings-should have gotten more!

Excellent food. Very relaxed, casual, but attentive service. Order at the counter and they will bring your food as soon as it’s ready to the table. Sauce is great… not exactly how I or my grandmother would make it, but very high quality. Eggplant parm crunchy, included pasta and salad. Penne al dente. Grilled zuchinni was made very fresh. Inexpensive also, well, very reasonable. I actually have never tried their pizza as the rest of their food is so good I keep trying different things. I can have pizza anytime. Owner doesn’t seem to take tips for counter service. VERYCLASSY! I don’t live super close but will be a regular.

Ordered from here a couple of times. The Fettuccini w. chicken is good. However, the pizza is a hit or miss. First time ordering, the pizza was good in terms of fresh toppings and sauce. The ingredients didn’t seem to be on par the second time. Currently on the fence about ordering from here again. Delivery time was fair given the distance. Agree with most Unilocalers, pizza is delicious and the sauce is just right. Will order from here again Ckn fettuccini w. Broccoli really good… second time ordering pizza wasn’t all that great like first time

$ 15.95 for a grilled shrimp salad with extra shrimp? I agree with the owner who told me you do pay good money for good food, but this wasn’t good food. I also believe that you pay good money for good service and their customer service was terrible. The shrimp was greasy, the salad was saturated with oil and the house dressing was nothing to write home about.

Great pizza and awesome eggplant parmesan! A real go to place for those cravings. Just wish the bolis were bigger… But very happy with their stuff in general.

Pizza is very tasty and they have a nice variety of gourmet pizzas. Delivery is always timely and customer service has always been good. Beyond pizza I haven’t tried many other menu items, but what I have has been good. I would definitely recommend and this is my go to pizza place in the area.

Stopped in for pizza and was pleasantly suprised. I asked for the pizza extra crispy because I hate when places do not leave the slices in the oven long enough… got our pizza and the slices were perfect and crispy. Specialty slices are great as well.

just ok. ran into this place since i didn’t want to drive too far from the hotel. ordered the seafood pasta but didn’t really like it so didn’t eat it all. didn’t think the guy who took my order and cooked the food was very friendly.

I was in town visiting some of my classmates I haven’t been here in 15 years it was smaller back then. I was surprised they expanded the place and they did a good job with the décor. I was pleased when I walked in and was super happy the pizza still tasted the same. If you’re in the area check them out.

I’ve ordered a bunch of times from them now, and I must say, their pizza is VERY delicious. It’s also so much cheaper… you can get a large 16″ pie for $ 13.50! It’s a real kind of thin, cheesy, oily(in a good way) kind of pizza. Their sub sandwiches are good, so are the calzones, and the desserts. I didn’t like the cheese fries very much. They usually deliver within 30 – 40 minutes. On a side note, my latest order was a week ago and it was the first time they came an hour late with a messed up order. It was on their busy day though so I over looked it. Overall, it’s a great place to get amazing quality pizza. The people who usually deliver are also very nice and polite.

Their pizza is amazing, but unfortunately their customer service isn’t the best, which sometimes keeps me from ordering here. It always seems like they have an attitude over the phone & on rare times when I come in they aren’t approachable either. But the quality of their food is really good, but I wouldn’t pay $ 5.50 for six mozzarella sticks that are burnt. Plain cheese pie does the trick for us and it’s a good deal for $ 11. It’s a hit or miss depending on what your order.

I’m stuck in a hotel nearby due to a winter storm and vehicle issues. The value, service, and staff of this place was much better than at my local hotel. For $ 30, I got more than enough food for the 2 days I’ve been stuck for. I got bigger portions that the hotel restaurant for ½ the cost. The online ordering was awesome!!! I do love the pizza there as well when I’m doing laundry next door.

Pretty decent place. Food is good, service is fast, and it’s not noisy. Came here after a metro & New Jersey swim meet at Rutgers and needed a place to eat before hitting the road.

Great food and a good amount of it also. I am a fan. Sometime the people in the front aren’t as friendly, but who cares… just do takeout.

Firstly, I will write to note that apparently Café Alfredo was hit quite hard by Hurricane Sandy and only recently opened. Now onto the review. One of our admins purchased a massive order for a group luncheon as appreciation for the employees coming to the datacenter to work following post Hurricane Sandy. The pizza was supposed to arrive around 12:15PM, however, it arrived around 12:45PM. Luckily it was still warm but quickly became cold. The one thing that absolutely shocked me was that(a) there were no plates and(b) no spices were provided. This wasnt a small order, this was like 20+ pies with toppings! I ended up tearing a piece of the pizza box top to use as a plate since the pizza arrived close to 1PM and normally I eat around noon. So I couldnt wait for someone at the datacenter to source plates out of a dark closet. I ate and tried the pepperoni with onions and peppers and the breaded chicken. Think I liked the pepperoni with onions and peppers better only because it was not dry. It was however loaded with oil, maybe it was just oily pepperoni. The breaded chicken pizza was massively loaded with meat — awesome! However, it was quite dry, very dry. Luckily I found a small container of tomato sauce and used that to add some moisture. A few pizza pies that I did not eat I noticed that the cheese was not completely melted. Think of the Ellios Pizza look when the shredded cheese doesnt melt whatsoever because its fake plastic cheese. I think the issue here was that they rushed the cooking. The meat lovers pizza I was not impressed with when I looked at it. The toppings were simply pepperoni, sausage, and ground meat. Basically, all cheap meats which are generally odds and ends of various meat cuts. I would have been more impressed with Canadian Bacon and perhaps shredded beef brisket or something(like the good Italian places use for Cheesteak instead of the cheap steak yums). In either case, it was decent enough for me to take a mixed pie of leftovers home for the weekend.

We went with a group of 50(A swim team, at Metro’s at Rutgers). We were quoted a price that the host would not honor without an argument. Pitchers of soda came to $ 10 each. Never going again.

We have only tried them for delivery. Decent plain pizza. My wife thinks that the Sicilian has a nice crust but was over-loaded with cheese. Worth another try for more of the menu.

Think of it as a cross between your local high school cafeteria and a family reunion. On the wall are several framed photos, such as the«2005 Little League Champions» with a picture of the team. Also, they serve your food on disposable styrofoam plates. Personally, I think that’s kinda weird, but that’s the style at Café Alfredo. The food was … not my type. When I received my side salad with Italian dressing, the dressing was actually purple and didn’t tasted very good. Purple? And then the Eggplant Parmesian: it was literally 10% eggplant, 40% batter, and 50% cheese/sauce. Basically fat/grease, with a dash of eggplant. I ordered eggplant, not sauce!!! Yes, Café Alfredo is very good if you’re looking for down-home cooking, and a super casual(family) atmosphere. Our neighbors were these 3 old retired people(mid-70s), who didn’t even order food. they were just chilling and talking. Also, it has a TV mounted to the wall that’s playing sports.
