Went to the bar to enjoy Keno and watch Bruins. The atmosphere is really nice the Pete’s Wicked Pie Pizza was delicious. The service was only OK. Bar staff were not attentive. Had to wait for drinks, Keno, and service. Good service = good tip and return visits!

I was pleasantly surprised when I came back to this restaurant after their revamp, the pizza, fish, basically everything is tasty. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for good food in this small town.

We walked here with our dogs and sat outside. I wish someone could have turned on the heat lamps but they weren’t working. I ordered the gyro chicken sandwich and my friend ordered a steak bomber sandwich. Our zucchini sticks to start were so good –we recommend trying! Service was a little slow at first but once she saw us outside she was very nice. I wouldn’t recommend ordering the chicken piccata — I had it there my last visit and the chicken looked different. I think it came out partially rAw. I was disappointed.(see pic).

The food is excellent at Agoro’s. I have no issues eating here with my food allergies — the ingredients are high quality and fresh as can be. I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded so good. Loved the goat cheese appetizer and the nachos are consistently the best and freshest I’ve ever had. The chicken piccata was huge so I also ate it for lunch the next day. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the giant TVs are great for watching a Patriots game!

Agoro’s is a fantastic place. We have dined here as well as had a special event in their private room. They made my daughters baby shower such a special event. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was elegant. just what I was looking for in planning this event. If you are looking for a casual meal or a special gathering, Agoro’s is the perfect setting.

Dine in with my wife. Ambience and décor is nice. Waitress was nice. Food quality this time was lacking. I went with the Porto burger, ordered medium rare. It came to our table well done first time. Second time was medium… gave up at that point. Burger itself was very greasy and poor quality beef. Overall an ok visit. Takeout last time was better.

Went for lunch Saturday afternoon. Sat on the patio. We had a new waitress and the service was extremely slow but we weren’t in a rush and had a cocktail so we were fine. We were informed that there was only 2 waitresses on for both the inside and outside. She was pleasant enough though. My husband ordered the steak arrabiatta calzone and I got the gyro with no bread and salad. The food was excellent! We’ll be back.

Visited Agoro’s for the first time during the week with my girlfriend. The menu was a bit confusing as it had elements of a bar type of place and a fancier place, but no big deal, I like variety. We ordered mozzarella sticks while we decided what we wanted from the large menu. After ordering we reviewed bread, which was great, but had I received it immediately I may not have ordered the sticks. I asked our server if the chicken Mozambique was made with any seafood whatsoever and she assured me that it wasn’t. We ordered that entrée and some kind of rolled lasagna(I forgot what it was called) to split both. When the food came out, I dug right into the pasta dish and it was AMAZING. The Mozambique however tasted like it was definitely made with seafood which completely turned me off from my entire meal(I despise seafood). All in all, pricing wasn’t bad and I’d probably come back since it’s one of the nicer places in town and right down the road.

Delicious! Went for a birthday celebration a few weeks ago and the food was fabulous. We had buffalo chicken nachos and calamari to start … I don’t think my fiancé has stopped talking about either one since! … I had the baked stuffed shrimp for my meal, it was OK. My fiancé’s lasagna rollatini was way better than my shrimp. Damn it! Knew I should’ve went with that. Oh well! I’ll just have to go back! :)

I frequently go to this restaurant for the Greek Haddock or Fisherman’s stew. It has a martini bar if you are eating in and frequently has paint and drink/eat night which is really popular. My husband’s favorite is the Meleze pizza containing buffalo chicken, onions, and tomato with blue cheese dressing. Sounds terrible but is delicious and should be tried. They also now deliver and have online ordering.

Excellent spot. Had dinner here and was very impressed. Place is beautiful and food amazing. They have a large backroom setup for additional guests and/or parties. Before the meal was served the waitress brought us some bread. We were surprised at just how good the bread was and the spread that came with it. Great start! The side salads were a good size, great greens and accompanying vegetables, a real salad. We ordered several of the hamburgers and they were huge and the fries were delicious. Will definitely be going back here.

Loved this when it was Minerva’s II, same people but they expanded and now are doing karaōke? I’ll still get takeout, but probably won’t be dining in often, it was really loud with the type of music you expect at a club. We had to ask if they could lower it, really couldn’t hear the bartender or each other. It would have been ok on maybe a Friday drink night, but not so good for enjoying a meal. Before anyone jumps on me for being an old fogey who should be eating at IHop, I’m just saying there’s a time and a place for loud rasta music, and a greek restaurant ain’t it, unless that’s the«event of the day». Really? Rasta? Get a new CD or mix it up a bit. And I like Rasta too. Food however, was pretty good, the spinach salad was very fresh and the chicken teriyaki, while a little salty, was good with it. Hubby got the meatball sub, and they were delish, next time he will order extra sauce though. We absolutely love their pizza, so this was the first time we tried a dish and we were happy with them. Will definitely go back, will just try to plan the time we go better, for us anyway, don’t let that stop you from it!

Sometimes It seems they are overwhelmed with business but the gourmet pizza is omg good so if you can get them to take your phone order, take out the Meleze pizza and count your blessings!

Hopefully, bad experience in spring 2013 was an aberration, maybe someone inexperienced as cook was filling in that night. Four of us dining-in and meals for different people in my party were brought out separately over 10 minute period, simpler sandwiches/subs first followed later by full meals. I’m not a very picky eater but my seafood just had a poor taste. Normally, glad to take some home but was glad to leave these leftovers behind.

I think the name is changing judging by the sign but my experience was not very good. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and the main area was almost empty. There was a large dinner function in another room. My girlfriend and I ordered burgers and waited… and waited. I finally got the waitress and told her either the food arrived or we had to go. It had been over half an hour. We were told the function ordered before us so we had to wait. They rushed the food out to us so we stayed. Burgers were very greasy. Fries were good though. Price was good also.

Good food but on the pricey side compared to others. They deliver but we use them the least, but for a great hamburger to be delivered in Somerset, I know of no others.

Love this place! The new renovations and menu have only improved the atmosphere. I happy to have this place close to home, it’s comfortable but when we go there I feel like we had a ‘night out’ not just a bite at some pizza joint!

Agoro’s Pizza Bar & Grill restaurant located on County Street in Somerset, Ma. Been going there for a few years now and enjoy it. Expect a slightly upscale family restaurant. I ordered a three topping takeout pizza and it was excellent tasting and a great value. The inside is nicely decorated, clean, bright, fresh, the waitress, and crew are all very friendly. The price are reasonable, and they just added a outside seating area(very classy) that I’ll be trying out this spring. I can recommend for lunch, diner, drinks. Five stars all day!
