There’s real know-​how at work in this small, unassuming fix-​it shop. Whatever the problem may have been, my computer wasn’t working. When I brought it in, Chris launched right into the repairs. What had seemed (to me) like a total computer wipe-​out was a basic fix for Chris and my machine was back out the door overnight. (It would have been even quicker, but my massive hard drive takes time to restore.) All in all, the service was quick, effective and very personalized.
The fix was also inexpensive, far less than I thought, even after it took more time than planned, despite running into unanticipated problems. After commiserating about my computer problems, Chris was filled with advice on avoiding them the next time. The advice was generous and free…
This is simply my go-​to computer repair shop now. And I’ll definitely be back when I have to. Maybe even before then. I was working on a 7 year old laptop and was told last year my operating system was no longer valid and I needed to buy a new computer. I consulted with Chris, no charge and he let me know yes I would need to update my computer within a year but no rush. So I took my time and after a year later when I was ready I called him again, to ask advice like, do I really need to but a new monitor and printer, Chris let me know I don’t, so that saved me about $ 400 — he also downloaded free anti-​virus so that saved me a little more and he was able to set up the new computer and transfer files in 24hrs. The computer store told me it would take 5 – 7 days.
